About the Role

We are hiring a Head of Corporate Security to build and own physical security for Nscale’s corporate offices and workplaces globally, based out of our London headquarters.
This is a foundational role created to support a company that is growing rapidly and has a global mission. You will design and implement how physical office security works at Nscale from the ground up, with responsibility for keeping employees, visitors, and corporate spaces safe as our footprint expands.
This role explicitly excludes the security of data centres or production infrastructure, which is handled separately. The focus is on corporate offices, workplaces, and people.

What you'll be doing

Build the Corporate Security Function

  • Establish Nscale’s corporate physical security capability from scratch, with a global lens.
  • Define standards and operating models that scale with rapid office growth.
  • Partner with leadership to anticipate security needs as new locations are opened and Nscale’s commercial position grows.

Physical Security & Workplace Design

  • Own physical access across all corporate offices, including entry points, badge systems, and visitor controls.
  • Assess office layouts and recommend changes to improve safety, flow, and access control.
  • Specify and oversee deployment of physical security systems (CCTV, alarms, access control).

Processes for Employees & Visitors

  • Create clear, consistent security processes for employees, contractors, and visitors across regions.
  • Build onboarding and offboarding controls tied to physical access.
  • Ensure security processes support productivity and culture in a fast-moving environment.

Contractors & External Partners

  • Select, onboard, and manage security vendors and facilities-related contractors globally.
  • Work with landlords, building management, and local authorities as required.
  • Set expectations and standards for third parties supporting corporate security.

Incident Response & Risk Management

  • Own response to physical security incidents affecting corporate offices or staff.
  • Build incident response playbooks and post-incident review processes.
  • Regularly assess risks to people and workplaces and implement improvements as the business scales.

About You

  • 5+ years owning or leading corporate or workplace security in a growing organisation.
  • Proven ability to build security programs, processes, and controls where little previously existed.
  • Strong understanding of physical security, access control, workplace safety, and vendor management.
  • Experience operating across multiple regions or supporting global office footprints.
  • Comfortable making decisions in ambiguous, high-growth environments.
  • Practical, credible, and calm—able to influence both senior leaders and employees.
