About the role
We're seeking a lead brand designer to join our product & design team. In this role, you'll be responsible for owning the identity and storytelling of the Nscale brand, holding it to the highest standard, and co-ordinating the application of it throughout the business. You will be required to balance being hands on with immediate asks, with the broader evolution and development of our brand system.
Responsibilities
- Own and evolve the Nscale brand to be industry leading in the fast-paced world of AI
- Develop a comprehensive and consistent brand system that can be used across all channels and mediums
- Assist in the ongoing refinement and evolution of our brand guidelines and strategy
- Stay current with design trends and emerging technologies in AI and tech branding
- Collaborate with leadership to ensure brand alignment across all company touchpoints and initiatives
- Work alongside our design director, brand designer, motion designer, producers, and product team to deliver cohesive and impactful visual solutions
- Mentor and provide guidance to designers and cross-functional teams on brand standards
- Partner with external agencies and contractors to maintain brand quality and coherence
- Develop visually engaging marketing assets, including e-books, email campaigns, social content, presentations, event collateral, and promotional materials
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in a design role, preferably in tech, agency, or startup environments
- Strong portfolio showcasing visual storytelling and brand ownership
- Proven track record of leading brand development or refresh initiatives
- Experience working in fast-paced, high-growth environments with evolving priorities
- Strong presentation skills with ability to articulate design decisions to stakeholders
- Understanding of brand strategy and how visual design supports business objectives
- Demonstrated experience creating marketing assets for various channels & mediums
- Proficiency with design software such as Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign), Figma, or similar tools
- Excellent organisational and communication skills, capable of managing multiple projects simultaneously
