About the Job
We’re looking for a director or manager to support our executive comms functions and lead in the execution across a wide range of matters facing the company. You will help communicate externally on behalf of Nscale’s leaders to tell specific company stories, amplify our executives in the market, and craft presentations, speeches, and other executive content.
You will serve as an early member of a growing communications team, helping it establish processes as the company expands its own operations. You will help shape how we present ourselves in the world, from major product announcements and geopolitical narratives to crisis response and cultural moments.
Qualifications
- 4-10 years of experience in communications, public relations, or public affairs, ideally with a strong track record in technology company environments.
- Proven success shaping external narratives and positioning companies for high-stakes visibility, industry leadership, and long-term market confidence.
- Experience working with executive communications or speechwriting to develop reactive and proactive communication strategies that engage investor audiences, analysts, and financial media with clarity and credibility.
- Strong executive presence and experience working closely with C-level leaders on public and investor communications.
- Excellent writing and storytelling skills with the ability to synthesise complexity into compelling, strategic narratives.
- A track record of operating effectively in fast-paced, highly regulated, or geopolitically sensitive environments.
- Deep understanding of media relations, reputation management, and strategic messaging across a global landscape.
- Strong project management skills and ability to manage cross-functional stakeholders with a high degree of precision and discretion.
- Experience scaling communications functions and leading through periods of transformation, external scrutiny, or market entry.
- Background in AI, infrastructure, cloud, technology, or policy is a plus.
