About the Team

We're a TA team of 15 spread across the globe, and we're planting our first flag in the US. Not to tick a box, because the US market is central to what comes next for Nothing. You'll be the person who builds that foundation from scratch. No playbook waiting for you. No warm seat. You'll own the SF patch end-to-end, covering tech and commercial hiring, and work closely with our CEO and exec team to build out the US function.

What You'll Do

  • Own the full US recruitment lifecycle, from mapping the market to closing offers, without a committee in your way.
  • Build and maintain deep talent networks across the SF tech and commercial scene, so the right people know who Nothing is before they're looking.
  • Act as a strategic hiring partner to US stakeholders and to the global TA team, shaping how we grow in this market.
  • Source and convert passive candidates across engineering, product, design, sales, and go-to-market functions by telling our story with a point of view.
  • Develop market intelligence on compensation, talent movement, and competitor hiring so Nothing stays ahead, not reactive.
  • Set up the tools, processes, and rhythms that a US hiring operation actually needs, built for a startup, not a legacy enterprise.
  • Feed insight back into the global TA team, making our entire operation smarter about the US market.

What We're Looking For

  • You have 6+ years of in-house or agency recruitment experience, with meaningful time spent in the SF Bay Area market.
  • You know the SF tech ecosystem, the companies, the people, the compensation norms, and you have the network to prove it.
  • You've hired across both technical and commercial functions and know that a great sales hire and a great engineering hire require completely different instincts.
  • You've operated in a startup or scale-up environment before and didn't need a lot of hand-holding to do your best work.
  • You take full ownership of your pipeline. You hunt, you build, you close, and you don't wait for inbound to do the heavy lifting.
  • You communicate with clarity and confidence, and you can partner directly with senior stakeholders without losing the human touch that makes candidates say yes.
  • You believe the best recruitment doesn't feel like recruitment, and you build candidate experiences that reflect that.

How We Work

  • Location: San Francisco (Jackson Square office)
  • Working Pattern: Full-time, in-office. We can work around personal needs where it makes sense, but being together is how we do our best work.
  • Base Salary: $130,000-$180,000 USD
