About the Team

Nothing's Talent Acquisition team is 12 people spread across London, Asia, and now for the first time the US. We don't fill seats. We find the people who'll define the next decade of personal technology, and we do it fast, because the giants we're up against aren't waiting. Right now we're building out US leadership across hardware, AI, design, and commercial functions from a standing start. You'll own that from day one: the SF patch, the exec searches, the tools, and the relationships that make it all work.

What You'll Do

  • Shape how Nothing builds its US leadership team, acting as a strategic talent advisor to the CEO, exec team, and US stakeholders on every senior search.
  • Own the full recruitment lifecycle end-to-end, from market mapping to offer close, across both exec-level and specialist hiring in SF.
  • Convert highly passive, world-class talent into active candidates by telling our story with a point of view that cuts through the noise.
  • Build and maintain deep talent networks across the SF tech and commercial scene, covering engineering, product, design, sales, and GTM, so the right people know who Nothing is before they're looking.
  • Develop real-time market intelligence on compensation, talent movement, and competitor hiring so Nothing stays ahead, not reactive.
  • Set up the tools, processes, and rhythms that a US hiring operation actually needs, built for a startup, not a legacy enterprise.
  • Feed insight back into the global TA team, making our entire operation smarter about the US market.

What We're Looking For

  • You've got 8+ years of recruitment experience, with meaningful time spent in the SF Bay Area market and at least a few years focused on senior and leadership-level searches.
  • You know the SF tech ecosystem: the companies, the people, the comp norms, and you have the network to back it up.
  • You've hired across both technical and commercial functions and know that a great engineering hire and a great GTM hire require completely different instincts.
  • You take full ownership of your pipeline. You hunt, you build, you close, and you don't wait for inbound to do the heavy lifting.
  • You've operated in a startup or scale-up environment before and didn't need a lot of hand-holding to do your best work.
  • You handle sensitive, confidential searches with the discretion and professional weight that C-suite partnership demands, and you can influence at that level without losing the human touch that makes candidates say yes.
  • You believe the best recruitment doesn't feel like recruitment, and you build candidate experiences that reflect that, whether it's a junior hire or a VP search.

How We Work

  • Location: San Francisco (Jackson Square office)
  • Working Pattern: Full-time, in-office. We can work around personal needs where it makes sense, but being together is how we do our best work.
  • Salary Range: $140,000 - $200,000
