About the Role

We are seeking a motivated and hands‑on Junior Field Marketing Manager to drive demand generation and strengthen nLighten’s brand presence in Germany. In this role, you will deliver regional field marketing initiatives, such as customer events, data centre tours, partner activities, and tech community programmes, hosted directly at our German data centre locations. Working closely with the German sales team, partners, agencies, and the central marketing team, you will help turn local activities into real business opportunities and support programmes that align with nLighten’s growth strategy.

 

Key Responsibilities

Field Marketing & Demand Generation

  • Support UK demand generation programmes aligned with sales priorities.
  • Plan and execute local marketing activities that generate qualified leads and pipeline.
  • Collaborate with Sales and SDR teams to strengthen account engagement.
  • Identify opportunities to position nLighten within the German digital infrastructure ecosystem.
  • Support account-based marketing for priority customers and verticals.
  • Monitor market trends and analyse event performance to optimise future campaigns.

Owned Events & Data Centre Engagement

  • Lead on‑site events hosted at German nLighten data centre locations.
  • Organise and execute facility tours, meetups, partner activities, roundtables, and workshops.
  • Manage invitations, logistics, vendor coordination, and onsite operations.
  • Align event planning with sales objectives and key account strategies.
  • Support follow-up activities to convert engagement into pipeline progression.

Partner & Ecosystem Marketing

  • Support co‑marketing initiatives with German‑based partners and ecosystem stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with cloud providers, carriers, and technology partners on joint initiatives.
  • Coordinate regional partner events and ecosystem activities.
  • Strengthen nLighten’s visibility within local tech and digital infrastructure communities.
  • Identify collaboration opportunities with innovation hubs, associations, and industry networks.

Content & Social Media Collaboration

  • Work closely with the Content Creator / Social Media Manager to amplify German initiatives.
  • Provide event recaps, photos, and insights for social media and marketing channels.
  • Support promotional activities for events and campaigns.
  • Share German market insights to refine messaging and content.
  • Assist with the development of presentations and event materials.

Performance Tracking

  • Track attendance, engagement, and lead generation for field marketing activities.
  • Support reporting on marketing performance and pipeline contribution.
  • Collect customer and event feedback to improve future activities.
  • Share insights and recommendations with the central marketing team.

 

What We’re Looking For

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or a related field.
  • 1–3 years of experience in marketing, events, or field marketing (internships welcome).
  • Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
  • Interest in B2B technology, cloud, or digital infrastructure.
  • Comfortable working closely with Sales and external partners.
  • Proactive, hands‑on mindset with the ability to take ownership.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills.
  • Fluency in German and English is required; additional European language are a plus.
