How will you make an impact?
- A subject matter expert for a technology or feature area.
- Participate in feature design to define test plans within and across teams, with a focus on functional, business, complex scenarios, high impact projects, usability, and accessibility.
- Review test plans for end-to-end testing based on real customer use cases.
- Enable team to automate all test cases and improve / develop test automation frameworks
- Monitor product and/or feature-level quality health metrics (test-ability, test health, test coverage, etc).
- Define BU level Quality KPIs and enable teams to achieve them.
- Troubleshoot production issues.
- Installation and staging of product deployments in a variety of configurations to testing environments.
- Influence and drive quality, product, and proceses.
- Provide leadership and coaching to others QA.
- Build automation test suits for regression and new features. Testing UI components, Checking data in databases, automating deployment and data generation.
- Interact closely with Build Engineers on the evolution of Continuous Integration and Deployment
- Adhere to agile development principles while following and improving all aspects of the scrum process.
Have you got what it takes?
- B.Tech in Computer Science, Information Technology/Electronic Engineering
- Total 9+ years of experience in testing distributed systems with web based front end and backend web services as QA engineer with very good test automation skills.
- Must have experience in coding of the Automation Framework (TestNG, Selenium or any other UI/Backend Framework)
- Hands on experience in programming language in any of Java, Git/Bitbucket/SVN, Test Management tools like XRay.
- Database skills required with hands-on experience in SQL.
- Experience in Performance Testing.
- Experience with installing software builds/Configuration
- Hand-on experience on AWS and Jenkins is added advantage.
- Develop and implement a comprehensive QA strategy to ensure the delivery of high-quality software products.
- Define testing processes, methodologies, and metrics to align with organizational goals.
- Design, build, and maintain scalable test automation frameworks for functional, regression, performance, and security testing.
- Evaluate and integrate advanced QA tools and technologies into the testing lifecycle.
- Guide and oversee test planning, execution, and reporting.
- Ensure alignment of testing efforts with business requirements, functional specifications, and technical designs.
- Define acceptance criteria and establish standards for quality gates.
- Partner with product managers, developers, DevOps, and stakeholders to improve software quality.
- Mentor QA team members and drive skill development in automation, tools, and processes.
- Promote a culture of quality and continuous improvement within the organization.
- Establish performance benchmarks and oversee performance testing activities.
- Work closely with security teams to integrate security testing into the QA pipeline.
- Define, track, and report QA metrics (e.g., defect densities, code coverage, and test effectiveness).
- Provide detailed reports on testing outcomes, highlighting risks and mitigation strategies.
- Have excellent communication skills.
- Be a self-motivated, rapid learner with an active interest in the latest tools, technologies and processes.
Education Qualification:
- ISTQB/ISEB qualifications.
- Hands on coding experience in any software development or scripting language
- Domain knowledge - Capital Markets / Trading / Fraud Detections / Compliance
- Knowledge of Actimize AIS, RCM and UDM tools
