Scrum Master
THE ROLE
We are seeking a proactive and servant-leader Scrum Master to support agile delivery across cross-functional squads within the Design and Engineering function. This role will be instrumental in enabling high-performing teams, removing impediments, and fostering a culture of continuous improvement and agile excellence.
You will work closely with Product Managers, Engineers, Designers, and stakeholders to ensure agile principles are embedded in day-to-day delivery, and that teams are empowered to deliver high-quality outcomes aligned with business priorities.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Agile Facilitation & Coaching
- Facilitate agile ceremonies including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, sprint reviews, and retrospectives.
- Coach teams on agile principles, practices, and frameworks (SAFe).
- Promote a culture of transparency, collaboration, and accountability.
Delivery Enablement
- Support teams in breaking down work, estimating effort, and managing sprint backlogs.
- Identify and remove impediments to delivery, escalating where necessary.
- Track and report on sprint progress, velocity, and team health metrics.
Continuous Improvement
- Drive retrospectives and action plans to improve team performance and delivery outcomes.
- Encourage experimentation and learning within teams.
- Champion agile maturity across the organisation.
Stakeholder Engagement
- Collaborate with Product Managers and Delivery Leads to align on priorities and dependencies.
- Communicate delivery status and risks to stakeholders in a clear and timely manner.
- Support cross-team coordination and programme-level planning.
Tooling & Process Optimisation
- Maintain agile tooling (Azure DevOps) and ensure data integrity.
- Standardise agile practices across squads while allowing for team-level autonomy.
- Contribute to the evolution of agile delivery frameworks and playbooks.

EXPERIENCE & QUALIFICATIONS
- Proven experience as a Scrum Master in a technology-led environment.
- Experience working with cross-functional delivery teams.
- Familiarity with agile tooling and reporting platforms.
- Relevant certifications (e.g., Certified Scrum Master, SAFe, ICAgile) preferred.
