SAP FI CONSULTANT

Responsibilities:

• S/4HANA FI Implementation (2023): Configure and support General Ledger (GL), Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), Asset Accounting (FI‑AA), and Bank Accounting, leveraging Universal Journal (ACDOCA), the ledger approach, and S/4‑native capabilities.
• Accounting Principles (IFRS/US GAAP): Design parallel ledgers (leading/non‑leading) for multi‑GAAP reporting; handle FX revaluation, accruals/deferrals, reclassifications, and period/year‑end close.

Legal & Tax Compliance:

• Set up and operate statutory and tax reports in FI (VAT/withholding, statutory trial balances, auxiliary ledgers, etc.).
• Utilize DRC for e‑invoicing/e‑reporting and country‑specific requirements (e.g., CFDI, DIOT), including exception handling and monitoring via eDocument Cockpit.
• Fiori Enablement: Drive fit‑to‑standard adoption and usage of key Fiori apps (e.g., Manage Journal Entries, Manage G/L Account Master Data, Post with Clearing, Foreign Currency Valuation, eDocument Cockpit, Migrate Your Data), and design roles/catalogs with UX best practices.
• ECC → S/4HANA Migrations: Lead brownfield/greenfield approaches, use S/4HANA Migration Cockpit for master data/balances, ensure FI/CO reconciliation, safeguard ACDOCA data integrity, and support cutover/hypercare.
• End‑to‑End Integration: Ensure integration with MM/SD/PP/CO/Treasury; manage tax determination, account determination (OBYC/OBA*), intercompany clearing, and touchpoints across O2C/P2P/R2R.
• Banking & Payments: Configure EBS (MT940/BAI2) or ISO 20022 (pain.00x/camt.0xx), Bank Communication Management (BCM), payment formats, house banks, and bank reconciliation.
• Quality & Governance: Lead fit‑to‑standard workshops, produce functional specs (WRICEF), support SIT/UAT, manage cutover and hypercare, and ensure controls for authorizations and audit readiness.
  Training & Adoption: Deliver training, key‑user enablement, and change‑management activities to maximize Fiori/process adoption.
