We are looking for: Change & Communications Lead
Preferred location: Barcelona

Key Responsibilities

Change Management
• Support the design and delivery of change management plans aimed at maximizing adoption of new capabilities and services, as well as employee engagement.
• Collaborate with a community of change agents across the organization, guiding and partnering with them in the successful execution of change initiatives.
• Measure the effectiveness of change plans and adjust strategies as needed to achieve better outcomes.
• Provide guidance on change activities across the Value Stream portfolio and the wider enterprise.
• Create and maintain documentation and supporting materials related to change management efforts.
• Continuously monitor and assess change agility within the Value Streams, adjusting approaches to ensure effectiveness and relevance.

Strategic Communication
• Implement and evolve communication strategy elements in alignment with the EDO strategy.
• Develop and execute integrated change management and communication plans for Value Streams.
• Foster a strong EDO culture by promoting local engagement and enabling employees to connect across broader forums.
• Create engaging content for a variety of communication channels (EDO, Set Area Data Office Forum, etc.).
• Measure communication effectiveness and refine plans based on insights and performance.

Learning & Development
• Design and implement a comprehensive Learning & Development (L&D) program tailored for Value Streams.
• Identify training needs and skills gaps through regular consultations with team leaders and managers.
• Collaborate with subject matter experts to develop relevant and high-impact educational content.
• Measure the success of the L&D program through key performance indicators and implement continuous improvements.


Requirements

Mandatory:
• Relevant university degree (BS/BA). Advanced degree preferred (MA, MBA, PhD).
• At least 3 years of experience in a similar role or equivalent academic experience.
• Background in internal communications and event management.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
• Proven stakeholder management experience.
• Strong networking and teamwork capabilities.
• Experience implementing change initiatives in complex environments.
• Extensive experience working in multilayered teams within a global organization.
• Ability to adapt to evolving needs with an open, constructive mindset.
• Strong strategic thinking and problem-solving skills.

Preferred:
• Knowledge of data management, data policy, analytics, data science, AI, and machine learning.
• Understanding of the pharmaceutical discovery and development process.
• Knowledge of modern marketing approaches and the use of social media to reach stakeholders.
