We are looking for Devops AWS

Key Responsibilities

• Analyze and optimize AWS cloud costs using tools like AWS Cost Explorer, Trusted Advisor, and Kubecost.
• Implement FinOps best practices to monitor, report, and reduce unnecessary cloud spending.
• Design and manage cost-efficient AWS architectures (EC2, Lambda, ECS/EKS, RDS, S3).
• Automate scaling policies, reserved instance management, and spot instance usage for cost savings.
• Develop Infrastructure as Code (IaC) with Terraform or AWS CloudFormation to ensure repeatable, optimized deployments.
• Improve observability and monitoring (CloudWatch, Prometheus, Grafana) to detect inefficiencies.
• Collaborate with engineering and finance teams to align cloud usage with budget goals.
• Implement right-sizing strategies for compute, storage, and databases.
• Optimize containerized workloads (Docker, Kubernetes) for cost-performance balance.
• Enforce tagging policies and cost allocation for accountability.

Required Skills & Experience

• 5+ years in DevOps, Cloud Engineering, or SRE with a focus on AWS.
• Hands-on FinOps experience (cloud cost optimization, budgeting, forecasting).
• Proficiency in AWS services (EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda, EKS, CloudWatch).
• Strong scripting/coding skills (Python, Bash, or similar) for automation.
• Experience with IaC tools (Terraform, AWS CDK, CloudFormation).
• Knowledge of container orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes, ECS).
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions, Jenkins, AWS CodePipeline).
• Understanding of SRE principles (SLIs/SLOs, error budgets).

Preferred Qualifications

• AWS Certified DevOps Engineer / Solutions Architect or FinOps Certified Practitioner.
• Experience with multi-account AWS environments and Organizations.
• Knowledge of GCP or Azure cost management (for multi-cloud environments).
• Background in security optimization (IAM, encryption, least-privilege access).
