Role Overview

The DC Security Operations Manager will be based at our primary data center (DC) in New Jersey, currently our main US facility. This role is responsible for the hands-on execution of physical security operations, supporting both operational sites and new deployments ("greenfield") until a permanent security manager is appointed. The manager will also frequently travel across the United States to audit colocation sites, ensuring alignment with our physical security standards and requirements.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage the day-to-day implementation and maintenance of physical security systems at the New Jersey DC.
• Conduct physical security audits and inspections at colocation sites across the US.
• Identify and address physical security risks; ensure mitigation and compliance with company standards.
• Coordinate with internal teams and vendors to deploy and maintain ACS, CCTV, and related security infrastructure.
• Act as the operational liaison between local teams in the US and global leadership.
• Support "Green field" development projects, contributing until a permanent security manager is appointed.
• Report security performance, incidents, and updates to the Global DC Security Manager.

Key Qualifications & Experience

Must-have:

• Experience in physical security operations, particularly in data centers or secured facilities.
• Strong coordination and communication skills with internal and external stakeholders.
• Practical experience in deploying and managing security technologies (ACS, CCTV, etc.).
• Willingness to travel frequently across the US.
• Hands-on, proactive work style with multitasking ability.

Preferred:

• Experience with security in multi-site or global environments.
• Familiarity with compliance and risk management frameworks.
• Strong understanding of physical security design and systems integration.
