The role

Nebius AI is looking for a Project Manager Data Center Planning & Delivery to become part of our data center planning and development organization.

The Project Manager for DC Planning & Delivery (Data Center Construction) will work with internal business partners like Finance, Procurement, Network Engineering, DC Tech Ops, Electrical & Mechanical Design engineers and with vendors, and will be responsible for managing and implementation of highly technical, cost-efficient and fast paced data center planning and construction projects.

Your responsibilities will include: 

• Project management and oversight of construction related activities for new builds and expansions, including the ownership of the project scope and timeline
• Provide construction management in specific initiatives aimed at increasing the resiliency of our data centers
• Review of constructability of electrical and mechanical system and building designs associated with the construction of new data centers and expansions or the optimization of existing data centers (working with electrical & mechanical design engineers)
• Create project scope and equipment requirements, assist with request for proposals for vendors and contractors
• Oversee total project quality, including assisting with commissioning and integrated system testing and oversight of the execution of the project
• Manage the Request for Information process during construction and coordinate construction administration with engineers
• Document and report key metrics to team members and management

We expect you to have: 

• Bachelor’s degree or relevant work experience in Construction Management, Architecture, Structural, Civil, Mechanical or Electrical Engineering or 7+ years of work experience in design, construction or program management in mission critical facilities
• Good knowledge of data center design
• Able to understand and interpret construction related drawings
• Good knowledge of data center electrical and mechanical infrastructure and equipment
• Ability and willingness to think outside of the box to find creative and innovative solutions prior to and during the construction process to reduce costs and schedules with no impact on quality and reliability
• Able to carry new design concepts through exploration, development, and into deployment/mass production

It will be an added bonus if you have: 

 Required qualification + certifications like:

• CDCP (Certified Data Center Professional or Equivalent Basic Certification)
• CDCPM (Certified Data Center Project Management or Equivalent)
