Nebius owns a data center in Finland, built from the ground up by the company’s R&D team. We are expanding our infrastructure and plan to add new colocation data centers in Europe and North America already this year, and to build several greenfield DCs in the near future.

Our Finnish data center is home to ISEG, the most powerful commercially available supercomputer in Europe and the 19th most powerful globally (Top 500 list, June 2024). It also epitomizes our commitment to sustainability, with energy efficiency levels significantly above the global average and an innovative system that recovers waste heat to warm 2,000 residential buildings in the nearby town of Mäntsälä.

The role

We’re looking for a PR Manager to shape communications around the Nebius platform and product. 

This role is technology-focused and requires a strong understanding of highly technical subject matter as well as PR skills. Applicants with a technical background and or experience of working with AI and machine learning technologies are particularly
welcome.

You are welcome to work in our office in Amsterdam, hybrid or remotely.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Establish PR priorities and develop messaging around the Nebius product, its differentiation against competitors and benefits for customers.
• Develop and manage PR campaigns focusing on the Nebius product, from conception to execution, with a particular focus on B2B media.
• Monitor and analyze campaign results and report on their effectiveness.
• Stay ahead of emerging trends in the market, industry developments and competitor activities.
• Work cross functionally to ensure PR efforts are aligned with business goals and resonate strongly with customers, partners and other key stakeholders based on their feedback.
• Maintain relationships with external agencies, media contacts and influencers.
• Support crisis readiness and response efforts as necessary

We expect you to have: 

• A bachelor’s degree, either in communications or a related field, or STEM subject
• 5+ years of experience in public relations, journalism or similar role with a focus on technology (AI/ML experience an advantage)
• Strong understanding of the tech media landscape, in particular in Europe (US experience is an advantage), and experience of B2B media campaigns.
• Demonstrable interest in and understanding of current trends in AI/ML and related technologies
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and draw actionable insights
• Proficiency in media monitoring and analysis tools
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English (native English is an advantage)
• Creativity and ability to think outside the box
• Ability to manage own workload and prioritize
