Project Manager - Founder Success Team

Remote - Global

Our Founder Success Team is a dedicated group with a singular focus: making developers successful on NEAR. We believe that a delightful developer experience is the cornerstone for widespread adoption. We work in close partnership with our product, engineering, marketing, and community teams to deliver tools, resources, and support that enable developers to seamlessly integrate NEAR into their apps and products.

Role Overview

As a Project Manager, you will play a pivotal role in driving the execution and impact of strategic initiatives across the NEAR ecosystem. This role sits at the intersection of project delivery, ecosystem growth, and partnership enablement, ensuring that technical and operational efforts translate into real developer adoption. Beyond execution, you will be deeply involved in developer ecosystem growth—identifying, enabling, and nurturing key partnerships to attract and retain high-quality developers

To succeed in this role, you’ll need a strong technical background, experience in project or program management, and a strategic mindset for ecosystem growth. You should be comfortable navigating both high-level strategy and hands-on execution, bridging gaps between teams, and ensuring that initiatives not only launch but also drive tangible developer engagement and adoption.

Key Responsibilities

Project Coordination & Delivery

  • Oversee and drive the execution of key initiatives across NEAR ecosystem nodes, ensuring alignment with strategic goals.
  • Collaborate with technical teams to understand roadmaps, identify potential blockers, and ensure smooth execution of projects.
  • Establish and refine project management frameworks, improving efficiency and transparency across teams.
  • Track project progress, report key metrics, and ensure timely delivery of milestones.

Founder Success & Developer Growth Support

  • Support the Founder Success team’s operations, helping manage workflows, optimize processes, and ensure seamless execution of initiatives.
  • Enable developer growth efforts, ensuring that projects are well-coordinated and resources are effectively utilized to attract and retain developers.
  • Identify and address gaps in developer engagement and adoption strategies, providing data-driven insights to improve outcomes.

Cross-Functional Collaboration & Stakeholder Management

  • Act as a central point of contact between engineering, marketing, and community teams to ensure ecosystem-wide coordination.
  • Work closely with leadership to align project goals with the broader NEAR strategy.
  • Facilitate communication and collaboration between internal teams and external partners to accelerate innovation and adoption.

Who Can Succeed in This Role

At NEAR, we value diverse backgrounds and paths to success. Whether you come from project management, software development, operations, or ecosystem growth, you should bring:

Technical & Operational Expertise

  • A technical background (experience in software development, blockchain, or similar fields).
  • Familiarity with developer tools, APIs, and technical roadmaps to effectively coordinate projects.
  • Understanding of developer communities and adoption strategies in Web3.

Project Management & Coordination Skills

  • Experience managing complex, multi-stakeholder projects in fast-paced environments.
  • Strong organizational and problem-solving skills with a proactive approach to execution.
  • Ability to track KPIs, optimize workflows, and manage competing priorities.

Communication & Collaboration

  • Excellent stakeholder management skills to align cross-functional teams.
  • Ability to translate technical concepts into clear, actionable plans.
  • A hands-on, resourceful, and adaptable mindset with a passion for blockchain technology.

Qualifications

  • 5+ years’ experience in project management, technical program management, or related roles in tech, blockchain, or developer-focused environments.
  • Proven ability to coordinate projects, drive execution, and manage cross-team dependencies.
  • Familiarity with project management tools and agile methodologies.
  • Self-starter with the ability to thrive in a fast-evolving ecosystem.

Compensation & Application
This is a contract position with competitive compensation. To apply, please submit your resume, a portfolio or links to your open-source contributions if any.

We value

  • ECOSYSTEM-FIRST: always put the health and success of the ecosystem above any individual's interest
