With our seed round closed and the company scaling toward Series A, we're growing the team, industrializing the technology, and building the organization required to take NConnect from breakthrough technology to commercial product.

As NcodiN enters its next phase of growth, we're looking for a Chief of Staff to the General Manager, EU to help build and operate the systems that allow our European organization to scale. At this stage, the operating model isn't inherited, it's built, and that's what this role is for.

This is a highly execution-oriented operations role. Working directly with the GM, you'll turn strategic priorities into structured plans, operating processes, tools, and reporting mechanisms. You'll also act as a trusted right hand to the GM on selected strategic and company-wide topics.

You'll play an integral role in how a rapidly scaling deeptech startup plans, coordinates, measures, and executes its work, with direct exposure to senior leadership, strategic decisions, and company-building priorities.

This is a high-trust, high-autonomy role with meaningful ownership from day one and the opportunity to grow from owning critical operating systems and projects into broader operational leadership over time.

Build and Scale Our Operating Systems

You'll take ownership of our Notion-based operating systems and drive them from structure through daily execution.

• Design and implement operating systems: build the processes, workflows, databases, trackers, and documentation that support how the organization operates, primarily in Notion
• Improve how work gets done: identify bottlenecks, recurring friction, and manual work, then solve them through better processes, tooling, AI, and automation
• Design for scale: map critical company processes and ensure they remain effective as the organization grows; before you deliver anything, ask: will this still work at 5–10x?
• Own systems beyond launch: monitor, maintain, and iterate on what you build to ensure it continues delivering as intended

Drive Cross-Functional Execution

You'll help turn company priorities into consistent execution across functions, including HR, IT, R&D, Product, Business Development, Operations, and leadership.

• Own cross-functional projects end-to-end: define scope, outcomes, responsibilities, milestones, and success criteria, then drive delivery through completion
• Coordinate complex workstreams: align stakeholders, dependencies, timelines, risks, and decisions to keep execution on track
• Remove blockers and maintain momentum: surface issues early, follow up with stakeholders, and drive issues through to resolution
• Create leadership visibility: provide concise reporting on progress, risks, decisions, dependencies, and outstanding actions
• Run key planning rhythms: support planning cycles, OKRs, and recurring operating reviews

Right Hand to the GM

Alongside your core operations responsibilities, you'll support the GM on selected strategic and executive-level topics, which may include:

• Act as a strategic sounding board: bring structured thinking, constructive challenge, and an independent point of view to important decisions
• Analyze strategic questions: conduct targeted research and benchmarking, frame problems, and synthesize findings into actionable recommendations
• Turn decisions into clear materials: prepare management presentations, decision documents, recommendations, and executive communications
• Extend the GM's reach: represent the GM in selected internal discussions and ensure decisions, commitments, and follow-ups are carried through

About You

You have 4+years of professional experience, ideally across one or more of:

• Strategy & Operations / Business Operations
• Chief of Staff roles
• High-growth tech startups / scale-ups
• Strategy or management consulting

Your exact background matters less than your ability to turn ambiguity into structured execution.

You are:

• Highly execution-oriented: you take ownership, move quickly, and see projects through from problem definition to implementation and scaling
• Structured and analytical: you break ambiguous problems into clear workstreams, priorities, and actionable plans that support effective decision-making
• An operational systems builder (Notion preferred): we run our operating system across teamspaces, databases, trackers, and dashboards in Notion, but we're open to candidates who’ve built sophisticated systems in Airtable, Asana, Monday, ClickUp, or similar tools and can transition quickly
• AI-enabled: you actively use AI and automation to eliminate repetitive work, improve systems, and increase the speed and quality of execution
• A strong project manager: you coordinate multiple stakeholders, dependencies, priorities, and deadlines without losing sight of the outcome
• Proactive and resourceful: you spot problems early, find solutions, and don't wait for perfect instructions to move
• A clear communicator: you translate complexity into concise documents, decks, recommendations, and decisions
• Able to influence without authority: you build trust, align stakeholders, and drive progress across teams and levels of seniority
• Fluent in English; French is a plus: you'll work across a France-based team and a growing international organization

Actual pay will be based on several factors including work experience, location and education.
