Quality Control Technician (F/M/D)

OUR VISION
When people use our technology to "bridge the gap" between the physical and digital worlds, they don’t just capture reality - they create a new one. In this new reality, they are smarter, more productive, more streamlined, and more creative - because they have the digital foundation to build the world they want to live in.
That’s what NavVis offers in all our products and services: the tools to not just map the world as it is, but to pave the way to a better future. To forge something new. Physical or digital, there is only one reality. And it’s the reality NavVis empowers people to build better.
THE OPPORTUNITY
As a Quality Technician at NavVis, you will play a key role in ensuring the performance and reliability of our cutting-edge mobile mapping systems, used to create high-precision digital representations of real-world environments. You will join a cross-functional production team of over 10 technicians, contributing to the assembly and testing of complex electro-mechanical devices and ensuring that every component and finished system meets our high quality standards.

- Record inspection results and yields in the quality management system
- Rework non‑conforming parts in accordance with defined procedures, where applicable.
- Escalate recurring quality issues to Quality Engineering, Development, or Supply Chain teams
- Work closely with the Assembly Team to clarify inspection criteria and improve workmanship
- Support commissioning activities and selected assembly steps when required
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives with the Quality Engineer
WHAT WILL HELP YOU SUCCEED IN THE ROLE
- Experience in quality control, ideally in an electro-mechanical or manufacturing environment (typically gained over ~2 years)
- Hands-on experience with mechanical measuring tools (e.g., calipers, micrometers, gauges)
- Practical knowledge of electronics handling and basic PCB inspection
- Confidence working with spreadsheets and quality tracking systems
- Strong attention to detail, structured documentation skills, and a problem-solving mindset
- Very good English communication skills; German skills are an advantage
