- Draft and review agreements entered into by Napoleon, contributing to the standardisation of legal documentation across the business.
- Manage Napoleon's real estate portfolio and licences, ensuring business continuity and the lawfulness of all related commercial and administrative aspects.
- Coordinate and follow up on claims, disputes, and court cases to ensure Napoleon's interests are properly defended and safeguarded.
- Monitor changes in existing legislation and new legal developments relevant to Napoleon, translating these into clear, actionable guidance for impacted business lines.
- Build legal awareness across the organisation by delivering training, developing templates, and helping departments handle day-to-day matters more autonomously, without losing sight of applicable legal boundaries.
What we are looking for
- Master's degree in Law.
- 5 to 8 years of professional experience in one or more of the legal fields relevant to this role (gambling, commercial, contract, corporate, or labour law).
- Demonstrable ability to provide practical, business-focused legal advice and translate complex legal matters into clear, usable guidance.
- Experience drafting, reviewing, and standardising a range of commercial agreements.
- Familiarity with regulatory compliance and the ability to monitor and interpret legislative change.
- Excellent written and spoken communication skills in both Dutch and English.
- Ability to work autonomously and manage a varied workload with strong attention to detail.
- Comfortable working as part of a close-knit legal team whilst also engaging directly with stakeholders across the business.
Nice to have
- Experience in social and labour law.
- Good working knowledge of French or any other language.
