Commercial Management Trainee

Napoleon Sports & Casino is looking for a driven graduate student to join our Commercial team. This intensive program is designed to cultivate future leaders in our organization, with the ultimate goal of preparing the candidate to assume the role of Commercial Lead upon completion. The successful candidate will receive comprehensive training and mentorship while gaining hands-on experience across key business functions.

This is a key role in our organisation as part of our future leadership program, reporting to the Head of P&L Sports. You will be responsible for shaping the future growth of the business and delivering the business insights to help your colleagues in the central product teams, and the wider organization to take informed decisions.

What you will be doing :

  • Participate in a structured rotational program covering key departments and functions including Sports operations, Gaming operations, Risk & Fraud, Payment operations, Customer Service, Campaign management, and P&L management.
  • Shadow experienced professionals and assist in day-to-day activities to gain practical insights and experience.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams on strategic projects and initiatives, contributing innovative ideas and solutions.
  • Analyse market trends, customer data, and competitor insights to inform business strategies and decision-making.
  • Develop and execute commercial initiatives to drive revenue growth and enhance customer engagement.
  • Work closely with senior leaders to understand business objectives and develop actionable plans to achieve targets.
  • Demonstrate leadership potential and initiative in driving continuous impact and operational excellence.

We are looking for someone who :

  • Has Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in business, economics, analytics, or related field.
  • Has fluency in English and Dutch, proficiency in French is a plus.
  • Has strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and draw meaningful insights.
  • Has excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across teams.
  • Has commercial Acumen and strategic thinking, coupled with a passion for driving business results.
  • Has proactive mindset and eagerness to learn and grow in a fast-paced environment.
  • Has demonstrated leadership potential and a desire to take on increasing levels of responsibility.
  • Is eligible to work in Belgium for the duration of at least 6 months.
