About the Role
Motion Ventures is looking for a VC Analyst Intern to work across both ends of the investment lifecycle — sourcing and evaluating new deals, and supporting the growth of our portfolio companies post-investment. You'll work directly with our Founder and investment/platform team, gaining hands-on exposure to how a maritime and supply chain-focused venture fund operates from term sheet through to portfolio growth.
What You'll Do
Deal Sourcing & Investment
- Source, qualify, and screen new investment opportunities
- Conduct due diligence and investment research
- Prepare investment memos
- Build and maintain relationships with founders, CEOs, and ecosystem partners
Portfolio & Ecosystem Support
- Monitor and evaluate portfolio company performance
- Support portfolio companies with strategic and operational input
- Develop relationships with co-investors, corporates, and strategic partners
- Prepare performance reports, insights, and trend analysis

Qualifications
- Pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Finance, Accounting, or Economics from leading universities
- Previous internship experience in investment banking, management consulting, private equity, venture capital, or M&A/corporate development highly preferred
- High level of interpersonal and communication skills
- Strong financial literacy, analytical skills, and spreadsheet modelling skills
- Able to work well with diverse teams and manage multiple stakeholders
- Self-starter with a proven ability to manage multiple priorities and work independently

Logistics
- Full-time, on-site in Singapore
- Minimum commitment of 4 months full time
