Head of Product
About the role
We’re looking for a Head of Product to take ownership of our product portfolio and its continued development.
As Head of Product, you’ll work closely with our founder on product strategy and positioning, including portfolio tiering and pricing. You’ll turn customer insight into product decisions, own hardware development from concept through manufacturing, and continuously improve our existing products across quality, reliability and cost.
You’ll be responsible for bringing more structure to how we discover, prioritise, develop and launch products as Moov continues to grow.
You’ll report directly to our founder and be part of the management layer alongside our Heads of Growth, E-commerce and Operations.
What you’ll do
Product strategy & positioning
- Partner with our founder on product strategy and positioning.
- Shape how our portfolio is positioned commercially, including tiering such as Good-Better-Best and pricing psychology.
- Make sure our portfolio is coherent, differentiated and profitable.
- Own the current portfolio and continuously improve how our products are positioned and perform.
Customer insight & discovery
- Set up and run customer research, including surveys and interviews.
- Use defect, return and customer-service data to understand where our products can improve.
- Translate qualitative and quantitative customer insight into concrete product, feature and portfolio decisions.
- Act as the voice of the customer within Moov.
- Define and track relevant product metrics.
Product development
- Own end-to-end hardware development, from concept through manufacturing.
- Work closely with our supplier and external partners throughout product development.
- Write clear product specifications and PRDs for hardware and app development.
- Own packaging, user manuals and product compliance.
- Collaborate with engineering, design, operations and external partners.
Quality & continuous improvement
- Structurally reduce product defects and preventable returns.
- Analyse product performance and identify recurring issues.
- Translate those insights into continuous product and portfolio improvements.
- Run sustaining programmes across cost, quality, reliability and regulatory requirements.
- Build and maintain a clear pipeline of product improvements.
Product operations & collaboration
- Bring structure to how we discover, prioritise and launch products.
- Build a strong bridge between Product, Operations and Marketing.
- Ensure clear collaboration and handovers between teams.
- Report monthly to leadership on product performance, portfolio progress and key metrics.
What we’re looking for
- 5+ years of product management or similar experience.
- Experience with electronics and connected hardware products.
- Experience taking at least one hardware product end-to-end, from concept through manufacturing.
- Experience owning product positioning, tiering and/or pricing.
- Strong understanding of portfolio strategy, including frameworks such as Good-Better-Best and value/price tiering.
- Solid understanding of pricing psychology.
- Experience with product discovery and qualitative customer research, including interviews and problem framing.
- Experience designing and running quantitative customer research and translating the results into product decisions.
- Strong data-informed decision-making skills, including defining and tracking product metrics.
- Experience using defect, return, customer-service and reliability data to improve products.
- Experience running sustaining programmes across cost, quality, reliability and regulatory requirements.
- Experience with packaging, user manuals and product compliance.
- Experience writing product specifications and PRDs for hardware and app development.
- Experience working with external partners such as design houses, app agencies and contract manufacturers.
- Experience working with a Chinese supplier is required.
- Startup or high-growth experience is strongly preferred.

Role: Head of Product
Hours: 38 hours per week (1.0 FTE)
Location: Fully remote, with access to our office in Utrecht
Salary: €90,000–€110,000
