E-commerce Specialist

Remote

E-commerce Specialist

Location: Remote (Netherlands preferred) · Type: Full-time

The average person sits for 8,000 hours a year.

Moov was built to change that.

We design innovative compact treadmills that integrate movement seamlessly into daily life, at home, in the office, or anywhere in between.

Moov is a fast-growing D2C wellness and movement brand, founded in 2024 and currently active across the Netherlands, Germany, Belgium, and Austria, with more European markets ahead.

We're looking for an E-commerce Specialist to take ownership of the day-to-day execution behind our storefronts and help us continuously improve how they perform.

The Opportunity

Our e-commerce operation spans multiple European markets and three languages: Dutch, German, and English. There's a lot happening at once: campaigns to launch, landing pages to build, storefronts to improve, SEO optimisations to ship, experiments to run, and a development agency to steer.

As E-commerce Specialist, you'll be the person who turns commercial priorities and ideas into things that are actually live. You'll own our e-commerce backlog, work hands-on in Shopify, coordinate our development agency, and help build a continuous CRO and experimentation programme.

This is a hands-on role with real ownership. You report directly to the Head of Ecommerce and work closely with Growth, Operations, our SEO expert, and our development agency.

What You'll Own

  • Shopify & commercial execution. Own the day-to-day quality of our Shopify storefronts and turn commercial initiatives into live experiences. That includes campaigns, landing pages, PDP improvements, merchandising, promotions, navigation, content, apps, and theme adjustments. You'll be comfortable getting things live yourself rather than depending on developers for every change.
  • E-commerce delivery. Own our e-commerce backlog in ClickUp and lead the day-to-day relationship with our development agency. Translate priorities into clear tickets, manage sequencing and dependencies, QA deliveries, and make sure the work that matters actually gets shipped.
  • CRO & experimentation. Help drive our experimentation programme by using data and customer behaviour to identify opportunities, develop hypotheses, set up and launch A/B-tests, analyse results, and turn learnings into new experiments. You don't need to be a CRO expert on day one, but you should be analytical, curious, and excited to develop this into an area you can own.
  • Performance & customer insight. Use GA4, Shopify, behavioural data, heatmaps, session recordings, surveys, and other customer signals to understand what's happening and why. Turn those insights into concrete improvements rather than reports that sit on a dashboard.
  • International & SEO. Coordinate storefront content and campaigns across Dutch, German, and English, helping us create experiences that feel local rather than directly translated. You'll also work with our SEO expert to make sure technical and on-page improvements get implemented.

What Success Looks Like

Within your first six months:

  • Our Shopify storefronts run smoothly and continuously improve, with opportunities and issues identified proactively.
  • Campaigns, product updates, and landing pages go live consistently and on time across our markets.
  • Our e-commerce backlog is clear, prioritised, and moving, and our development agency is well steered with strong tickets and properly QA'd deliveries.
  • SEO improvements get shipped instead of stalling on a crowded backlog.
  • We have a consistent experimentation cadence, with multiple meaningful A/B-tests launching each month and learnings feeding into new hypotheses.
  • You're increasingly turning data and customer behaviour into your own ideas for improving the customer journey and commercial performance.

What You Bring

You're a T-shaped e-commerce operator: highly capable hands-on, comfortable with data, and able to connect commercial priorities with execution. You don't need to be an expert in every discipline, but you're curious enough to learn quickly and take on more ownership as you grow.

Ideally, you have:

  • 3-5 years of hands-on e-commerce experience, preferably in D2C or another fast-moving consumer environment.
  • Strong Shopify experience. You're comfortable with the theme editor, apps, metafields, Shopify Markets, CSV bulk work, products, collections, and campaign setup. This is a hard requirement.
  • Experience owning a backlog or coordinating multiple stakeholders and external partners using ClickUp, Jira, or a similar platform.
  • Experience working with developers or development agencies. You can turn an idea into a clear requirement and properly QA what comes back.
  • Strong analytical instincts and comfort with tools such as GA4, Shopify Analytics, Microsoft Clarity, heatmaps, or similar platforms.
  • A structured, self-directed working style. You can balance competing priorities and keep things moving without constant direction.
  • Excellent English.

Nice to Have

  • Hands-on experience with CRO, A/B-testing, experimentation, or customer research.
  • German language skills.
  • Experience implementing technical or on-page SEO improvements.
  • Basic understanding of HTML, CSS, Liquid, or how Shopify themes work under the hood.
  • Experience working across multiple international Shopify Markets.
  • An interest in wellness, movement, or home-focused products.

Why Join Moov?

  • Real ownership of the storefronts behind a fast-growing European D2C brand.
  • Work directly with the Head of Ecommerce and closely with Growth, Operations, SEO, and development.
  • Develop beyond pure e-commerce execution by building experience in CRO, experimentation, data, and international growth.
  • See your ideas go from insight to live storefront improvement quickly.
  • Flexible, fully remote working.
  • A fast-moving environment where your work has a direct and visible impact on growth.
  • Your own Moov treadmill for home.

The Reality

This is a hands-on role. Some days you'll be building a landing page, QA'ing agency work, or pushing a campaign live. Others you'll be analysing customer behaviour, setting up an A/B-test, or figuring out how to get competing priorities shipped.

Things won't always arrive as perfectly written tickets. You'll need to understand the objective, ask the right questions, make sensible decisions, and keep things moving.

If you like combining execution with analysis, want to keep developing your skills, and enjoy seeing your work turn into measurable improvements, you'll thrive here.

Ready to Moov?

We're looking for someone who can help us execute faster, learn faster, and build a better e-commerce experience as we expand across Europe.

If that sounds like you, we'd love to hear from you.
