About the role
The Regional Warehouse Manager – B2B eCommerce is responsible for full ownership and management of regional warehouse infrastructure, ensuring optimal space usage, inventory accuracy, cost efficiency, and workforce productivity. This role ensures smooth upstream and mid-mile logistics operations in a high-velocity B2B e-commerce supply chain.
Key Responsibilities
Strategic & Operational
- Oversee the setup and management of strategically located warehouses near major markets with excellent road access.
- Lead warehouse layout design, zoning, and vertical racking to maximize storage and dispatch efficiency.
- Implement WMS and oversee its integration with OMS and logistics platforms.
- Enforce FIFO/FEFO compliance with automated expiry alerts for perishables.
Inventory & Fulfillment
- Drive real-time inventory visibility, stock accuracy, cycle counts, and physical audits.
- Maintain KPIs such as fill rate, order cycle time, inventory turnover, and shrinkage rate.
- Ensure customized packaging SOPs based on customer segment (Retailer/HORECA).
Infrastructure & Cost Control
- Lead loading/unloading infrastructure optimization, reduce dock turnaround time.
- Benchmark cost across labor, utilities, shrinkage, and packaging.
- Drive operational efficiencies to keep total warehousing cost under 1% of sales.
Workforce Management
- Build and manage a trained team across shifts — receiving, picking, packing, and dispatching.
- Enforce safety protocols, including PPE, fire drills, and ergonomics.
Future Readiness
- Plan modular expansion of facilities to support business growth.
- Integrate green practices like solar-powered operations and waste management.
Qualifications
- 7–10 years in warehouse or supply chain management, preferably in B2B e-commerce, FMCG, or modern trade.
- Deep understanding of WMS, OMS, TMS, and automation tools.
- Track record in managing multi-category SKU warehouses.
- Strong data skills: Excel, Google Sheets, dashboard tools.
- Strong leadership, decision-making, and budget ownership.
