About the role
Location: Remote (Full-time)
As a Junior Motion Graphics Designer, you will work closely with designers and copy writers to create engaging motion content for Moniepoint’s digital platforms, social media, and brand/product campaigns.
We are looking for someone who is passionate about motion design, video storytelling, and digital content creation. If you are a highly creative individual with an eye for detail and a passion for bringing static visuals to life, this role is perfect for you!
What you’ll get to do
- Create engaging motion graphics and animated assets.
- Design animated social media content, explainer videos, and promotional clips.
- Bring static graphics to life using motion design principles and animation techniques.
- Assist in storyboarding and concept development for Television Commercials when needed
- Edit and refine videos, ads, and brand content for different platforms.
- Add transitions, effects, animations, and sound design to enhance video content.
- Ensure videos are optimized for different formats (social media, web, ads, etc.).
- Ensure all motion content aligns with Moniepoint’s brand identity, color palette, and visual guidelines.
- Collaborate with graphic designers and copywriters to maintain visual storytelling cohesion.
- Stay updated with the latest trends in motion graphics, animation, and video marketing.
- Experiment with new animation techniques and creative storytelling methods.
To succeed in this role, we think you should have
- 3+ years of experience in motion design and video editing.
- Growing portfolio showcasing motion graphics work.
- Proficiency in Adobe After Effects, Premiere Pro, Photoshop, and Illustrator.
- Understanding of animation principles, and visual storytelling.
- Ability to work on multiple projects in a fast-paced team.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to delivering high-quality work.
- Passion for creativity, innovation, and continuous learning.
- Experience with 3D animation (Cinema 4D, Blender, Maya) will be considered a plus
- Familiarity with UX/UI motion design and interactive animations will be an added advantage.
- Basic knowledge of sound design and audio editing tools.
- Experience with social media content creation and digital marketing trends.

What to expect in the hiring process
- Application & portfolio review: we review the quality of your designs in your portfolio
- Preliminary phone call with HR: a brief conversation where your expectations are discussed, background, growth potential, career outlook, personality and cultural fit is accessed.
- Assessment: a take-home assessment to evaluate strategic and creative skill set and technical depth
- Final executive conversation: an interview with the Creative Director, where you will present the assessment. You will also be assessed on alignment with our values and principles.
