Product Manager – Web Platform (all genders)
Join us as a Product Manager – Web Platform (all genders) in our Backoffice Platform team and help shape the future of autonomous mobility!
At MOIA, we're pioneering the future of autonomous mobility and AD fleet operations. Our mission is to make mobility safer and more accessible for everyone, and we're already doing it at scale: Europe's biggest electric ride pooling fleet has carried over 9 million riders to their destination.
Want to come on board?
The Web Platform team enables domain product teams to build features across two applications: the Backoffice, our customer-facing application for B2B clients, and the Admin Panel, the internal frontend for managing customer and vehicle lifecycle operations across all B2B clients. The team owns the platform product strategy, shared foundations including infrastructure, design system, authentication and authorization, and builds deployment automation on our own serverless AWS infrastructure, following the principle “you ship it, you own it.”
Your job is to keep this a coherent platform, not a patchwork: build overarching functionality like user management once so domain teams ship and prototype faster, and compliance gets simpler for everyone. As a platform Product Manager, you're measured by the success of the teams you enable, not just your own.
We are looking for a Product Manager to join this cross-functional team of engineers, a designer, and an agilist. The Backoffice has evolved from an internal MOIA tool into a B2B platform used by cities and public transport operators across Europe. With this foundation in place, the team’s focus is now on scaling the platform through increased stability and domain team enablement. At the same time, the Admin Panel is becoming a critical part of the platform ecosystem. It gives internal teams such as GOES (Global Operator Enablement Services), B2B Support, and Product centralized visibility and control across the entire customer and vehicle lifecycle, helping them manage an increasingly complex partner landscape.
What you will do
Product Strategy & Roadmap
- Gain an in-depth understanding of MOIA's challenges in moving from a B2C to a B2G2C licensing offering
- Create and drive a roadmap that turns company strategy into a focused, actionable plan while keeping team responsibilities in balance
- Shape, drive, and execute the WebPlatform product strategy together with the team
Team & Stakeholder Collaboration
- Join forces with the team's Technical Lead to share technical and business-critical responsibilities
- Collaborate across MOIA with teams such as Tech Sales, Account Management, and external partners to bridge the gap between partner needs and MOIA's internal capabilities
- Play a supporting role for other teams, enabling them to achieve their goals while managing multiple stakeholders
- Facilitate product ideation processes for collaboration between stakeholders and engineers
Platform Ownership
- Own the evolution of user management, including GDPR-compliant access and permissions across MOIA's operational teams
- Work with designers and developers to maintain a reusable design system for consistent, efficient UI development
- Support other teams in developing holistic features smoothly within the Backoffice and Admin Panel
- Help shape the Admin Panel's core capabilities: customer and vehicle lifecycle management, troubleshooting and operational support (including temporary access for customer setup), and test mission planning for V&V (Verification / Validation) activities
What will help you to fulfill your role
You are a product enthusiast who is confident in diving into discussions with experts in their field, loves solving complex and strategic problems, and is keen on managing multiple stakeholders with different backgrounds. Working in high-performance teams is in your nature, and you thrive in a startup culture.
- Technical Product Management: You have worked with technical teams and enjoy developing solutions in close collaboration with developers. You enjoy discussing complex technical challenges but let the team figure out architecture and implementation. Experience supporting platform teams in reaching their potential is a plus but not required.
- Great Communicator: People enjoy working with you because you communicate well and evoke optimism, even when communicating complex information. You adjust your messaging to different stakeholders and translate deep domain expertise into clear, straightforward language. You're not afraid to ask questions to refine your understanding.
- Excellence: With your experience in product management, you've mastered finding the balance between business, stakeholder, and user needs, and can create a shared understanding, so your prioritization is aligned and understood by all relevant parties.
- Visionary: You think big, craft compelling visions for your ideas, and understand what makes your products commercially viable. You bridge the gap between the technical and the business world.
- Pragmatist: You get things done, make sound decisions, and resolve issues effectively.
- Openness: Openness to learning and getting hands-on in development is a plus.
- Fluent communication in English
