Team Lead (all genders) - Operations Delivery Management

Berlin, Germany; Hamburg, Germany

Join us as Team Lead (all genders) - Operations Delivery Management in our Global Operator Enablement Services organization and help shape the future of autonomous mobility!

MOIA’s Global Operator Enablement Services (GOES) is the delivery backbone for our operator customers worldwide. We turn innovative technology into operational success—enabling safe, scalable, and efficient autonomous mobility services.

We bring together customer launch management, digital platform provisioning, service operations, and support. As the single point of contact for operators, GOES drives end-to-end delivery excellence.

As Team Lead Operations Delivery Management, you combine hands-on operational executiondomain ownership, and people leadership with strong proximity to customers and fleet operators. You build Operations Delivery Management as a core capability for MOIA at scale while actively supporting customer launches on-site and developing a high-performing team.

You lead by example: working alongside your team in launch cities, shaping standards and toolkits from real-world experience, and ensuring Operations Delivery Managers are set up for success with our customer organizations and their local fleet operators.

What you will do

Build up the Operations Delivery Management knowledge domain (high priority)

  • Establish Operations Delivery Management as a defined capability within GOES
  • Build and continuously refine standards, playbooks, and toolkits for operator enablement and launch execution
  • Capture learnings from launch cities and translate them into reusable best practices
  • Drive consistency across regions while enabling local adaptation where needed
  • Partner with Product, Engineering, Support, and Commercial teams on operational readiness, hub setup, and service scalability

Build and lead the team

  • Build and shape an international team of Operations Delivery Managers (culture, capabilities, and ways of working)
  • Hire, onboard, enable, coach, and develop a team with strong operational and technical backgrounds in mobility and transportation
  • Enable continuous learning across operational, technical, and customer-facing dimensions
  • Foster a culture of ownership, collaboration, and pragmatic problem-solving
  • Lead the team with an enabling, pragmatic, execution-oriented, and servant-leadership mindset
  • Set clear priorities and keep focus across parallel launches and initiatives
  • Promote agile ways of working and a strong feedback culture
  • Act as people manager (performance, development, and well-being)

Active execution and support in launch cities

  • Provide hands-on support during customer and local fleet operator launches, ramp-ups, and critical operational phases
  • Coach and support your team on-site, especially in complex or high-risk situations
  • Handle escalations and unblock issues by connecting teams with the right internal and external experts
  • Work closely with customers and local fleet operators on organizational build-up, hub setup, infrastructure, and operational readiness in autonomous vehicle environments
  • Ensure smooth transitions from launch and hypercare into steady-state operations
  • Stay close to operational reality to continuously improve standards and guidance

What will help you to fulfill your role

  • Strong background in setting up and scaling operations in mobility or transportation
  • First-hand experience in launch execution or comparable operational roles (e.g., Operations Delivery Manager)
  • Proven ability to turn operational experience into structured standards and knowledge assets
  • Technical proficiency in hub setup and infrastructure in autonomous vehicle environments (charging, networking, and physical site infrastructure)
  • Comfort working hands-on in the field while also shaping mid-term capability development
  • Ability to manage complexity, escalations, and competing priorities pragmatically
  • High willingness to travel and spend time on-site during critical phases
  • Fluent in English; German and additional European languages are a plus

Nice to have:

  • Experience building and leading teams in fast-changing, growth-oriented environments
  • Direct experience working with local fleet operators or mobility service providers
  • Deep hands-on exposure to hub engineering, commissioning, or infrastructure rollout phases
