Senior IT Support (all genders) - Digital Workplace

Munich, Germany

Join us as a Senior IT Support (all genders) in our Digital Workplace team and help shape the future of autonomous mobility!

Join us as a Senior IT Administrator and take full ownership of IT support for our new Munich location — a role with real impact, autonomy, and responsibility from day one.

At MOIA, our Digital Workplace team connects our workforce through modern, cloud-first technologies and best-in-breed workplace solutions. As our sole senior IT support presence in Munich, you’ll be the trusted go-to person for everything related to the local digital workplace, while collaborating closely with the central Digital Workplace team.

We run everything in the cloud, avoid on-prem hardware wherever possible, and rely on SSO, MFA, and automation to scale securely and efficiently. Our core stack includes Okta, Microsoft 365, Slack, and MDM solutions — providing a strong, modern foundation for growth.

What you will do

  • Own IT support for the Munich office as the senior and primary point of contact.
  • Provide near-desk and hands-on support for incidents, service requests, and workplace issues.
  • Manage and support SaaS tools such as Okta, Microsoft 365, Slack, Atlassian, and Miro.
  • Oversee device lifecycle management (deployment, maintenance, replacements, returns).
  • Handle onboarding, offboarding, and IT enablement for employees in Munich.
  • Ensure a smooth and secure Apple-focused workplace setup, including remote device management.
  • Collaborate with internal teams and external partners for equipment setup and office IT needs.
  • Contribute to larger IT initiatives, standards, and improvements driven by the central Digital Workplace team.
  • Identify opportunities to optimize processes, automate workflows, and improve documentation.
  • Act as a trusted advisor locally, while aligning with global IT policies and best practices.

While MOIA embraces a hybrid work model, this role requires regular onsite presence in our Munich office, especially during the setup and growth phase of the location.

What will help you to fulfill your role

  • Several years of experience in IT Support / IT Administration / Digital Workplace roles.
  • Strong hands-on expertise with Apple devices in a professional environment.
  • Experience managing remotely deployed devices at scale.
  • Solid knowledge of MDM solutions (e.g. Jamf, Microsoft Endpoint Management, VMware Workspace ONE).
  • Practical experience with at least two of those tools: Microsoft 365, Okta, Slack, Atlassian, and Miro.
  • Experience with ticket-based systems and a strong service mindset.
  • Ability to work independently and make decisions autonomously in a fast-paced environment.
  • Comfortable being the sole local IT support, while collaborating remotely with a central team.
  • Experience with scripting and automation (e.g. Bash, PowerShell, workflows) is a strong plus.
  • Clear and confident communication skills in English (C1) and German at least (B2).

We welcome applicants from diverse backgrounds — even if you don’t meet every requirement. If you’re excited about the role and MOIA’s mission, we’d love to hear from you!
