Join us as a (Senior) Analytics Engineer (m/f/d) in our Fleet Analytics team and help shape the future of autonomous mobility!

What We Do

Work cross-functionally with teams across MOIA to understand diverse data needs

Own and evolve the central data transformation framework for our fleet domain
- Scale analytics efforts and enable Data Analysts and Data Scientist by providing clean and reliable datasets

Turn complex business questions into clear data models, KPIs, and metrics

Help teams meet their analytics goals and keep dashboards accurate and insightful

Partner with stakeholders to solve business challenges using data

Share knowledge and support teams in adopting and contributing to our central data setup

Support Fleet.OS business unit with our Data Science and Analytics expertise
What you will do
-
You'll architect and build scalable data pipelines using DBT and SQL, establishing robust data quality frameworks through automated testing while designing modular, reusable data assets that drive business insights.

You'll leverage modern data orchestration tools like Airflow, implement CI/CD workflows with GitHub Actions, and develop Python automation solutions to streamline our data platform and accelerate deployment cycles.

You will work closely with members of our Data Platform Team to bootstrap new data services, ensuring data security and data protection standards.

In addition, you will enable product teams to build their own data products within the data foundation framework and support them with onboarding sessions, consulting, or documentation.
- Pairing with other team members on complex coding challenges or process improvements is essential for our team work.
What will help you to fulfill your role

Background in Data Engineering, Analytics Engineering;
-
Passion for understanding and analyzing vehicle/fleet operation processes in the exciting field of Autonomous Driving;

Experience with DBT and modern data modeling practices, along with proficiency in SQL and at least one modern programming language, preferably Python;

Proficiency with Cloud Services (AWS, Azure, GCP etc.);

Solid understanding of dimensional modeling knowledge;

Experience in implementing and orchestrating robust data pipelines (Airflow or similar);

High level of self-organization and agency in prioritization and decision-making;

Enthusiasm for knowledge sharing and maintaining T-shaped developer profiles in the team;

Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills, with the ability to work closely with source teams to understand event streams, business processes, and data signals.

A keen eye for identifying edge cases and structural issues in event or signal data, and the confidence to advocate for upstream changes when necessary.
