As a Scheduling Manager, you will lead planning and scheduling functions supporting some of North America's largest and most complex hyperscale data center developments. You will help shape execution strategy, identify and manage schedule risk, improve planning certainty, and provide project teams with the visibility needed to make informed decisions throughout the project lifecycle.

Position Overview

As a Scheduling Manager, you will lead scheduling functions across large-scale hyperscale data center and mission-critical infrastructure projects.

During the early phases of project delivery, you will support conceptual planning, site-development sequencing, utility infrastructure planning, procurement integration, logistics planning, and construction mobilization activities. As projects advance, you will oversee schedule development, progress measurement, forecasting, commissioning planning, recovery planning, and turnover readiness efforts.

You will be responsible for developing scheduling standards, managing project schedules, supporting preconstruction activities, leading schedule analysis efforts, and providing schedule-driven insights that improve project performance.

This role serves as a strategic partner to Project Management, Construction Management, Project Controls, Procurement, Engineering, Commissioning, Field Operations, and Executive Leadership teams.

Success requires leadership capabilities, advanced scheduling expertise, strong analytical skills, construction knowledge, and the ability to transform project data into actionable execution strategies.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead scheduling activities across multiple hyperscale data center and mission-critical infrastructure projects.
• Develop and implement scheduling standards, best practices, procedures, governance requirements, and reporting methodologies.
• Manage baseline schedules, milestone schedules, resource-loaded schedules, recovery schedules, commissioning schedules, and turnover schedules.
• Develop integrated schedules that align engineering, procurement, construction, commissioning, and turnover activities.
• Support project pursuits, conceptual planning, preconstruction efforts, and execution-planning activities through schedule development and analysis.
• Identify schedule risks, constraints, opportunities, and recovery strategies supporting successful project execution.
• Establish schedule-management processes that provide visibility into project progress, milestones, procurement readiness, and forecasted completion dates.
• Provide project leadership teams with schedule visibility, reporting, forecasting, and performance analysis throughout the project lifecycle.
• Drive continuous improvement across scheduling systems, planning processes, and project-execution practices.

What You'll Do

• Lead scheduling efforts from project pursuits through final turnover and project closeout.
• Develop conceptual schedules, execution schedules, baseline schedules, resource-loaded schedules, and commissioning schedules supporting hyperscale data center construction.
• Support planning activities associated with site development, mass grading, underground utilities, telecommunications infrastructure, structural concrete, power infrastructure, commissioning, and final turnover.
• Establish project logic, critical-path methodology, project milestones, procurement integration points, commissioning milestones, and turnover requirements.
• Collaborate with Project Managers, Construction Managers, Superintendents, Project Controls personnel, Procurement teams, Engineers, Subcontractors, and Customers to validate execution strategies and project assumptions.
• Facilitate pull-planning sessions, schedule-review meetings, milestone workshops, look-ahead planning sessions, schedule-risk discussions, and recovery-planning workshops.
• Analyze project progress, production trends, labor productivity, procurement status, commissioning readiness, and schedule performance to identify risks and opportunities.
• Perform critical-path analysis, delay analysis, schedule-impact evaluations, schedule-risk assessments, and forecasting activities.
• Support project teams in evaluating schedule impacts associated with design changes, procurement delays, utility conflicts, labor constraints, weather events, productivity impacts, and change orders.
• Develop recovery plans and alternative execution strategies when project milestones are threatened.
• Prepare executive reports, schedule dashboards, milestone evaluations, trend analyses, and performance metrics.
• Support procurement planning by integrating long-lead equipment and material milestones into project schedules.
• Support commissioning and turnover planning efforts to ensure successful project transitions.
• Identify opportunities to improve schedule reliability, planning accuracy, forecasting effectiveness, and overall project performance.

• Lead, mentor, and develop Schedulers and planning personnel supporting assigned projects.
• Establish scheduling expectations, planning standards, reporting requirements, and schedule-governance practices.

• Support project leadership by identifying planning risks, execution challenges, and schedule-improvement opportunities.

What It Takes

• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Project Management, Business, or a related discipline and 8+ years of scheduling, project controls, construction management, engineering, or project-execution experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Experience developing and managing schedules for hyperscale data centers, mission-critical facilities, EPC projects, industrial construction, power infrastructure, utility construction, heavy civil projects, or other large-scale construction programs.
• Demonstrated leadership experience managing scheduling efforts across multiple projects, major project teams, or large multidisciplinary construction programs.
• Advanced understanding of site-development sequencing, procurement workflows, commissioning activities, field operations, resource planning, critical-path scheduling, and project-execution methodologies.
• Experience developing baseline schedules, resource-loaded schedules, recovery schedules, commissioning schedules, milestone schedules, and integrated master schedules.
• Strong capabilities in critical-path analysis, schedule forecasting, delay analysis, recovery planning, schedule-impact analysis, and schedule-risk management.
• Experience supporting project pursuits, conceptual planning, preconstruction efforts, procurement integration, and project startup activities.
• Experience supporting major earthwork, utility, telecommunications, industrial, power, EPC, infrastructure, or mission-critical construction projects preferred.
• Ability to collaborate effectively with Project Management, Construction Leadership, Project Controls, Engineering, Procurement, Owners, Subcontractors, and Executive Leadership teams.
• Advanced proficiency with Primavera P6.
• Experience with Microsoft Project, Power BI, Procore, Autodesk Construction Cloud, Oracle Primavera, Acumen Fuse, InEight, or similar project-management and planning platforms preferred.
• Planning & Scheduling Professional (PSP), PMI-SP, PMP, or related industry certifications are preferred but not required.
• Strong analytical, organizational, communication, presentation, leadership, facilitation, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities while maintaining a high degree of accuracy and strategic focus.
• Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record.
• Ability to support long-term, site-based assignments at hyperscale data center and mission-critical construction projects throughout North America. This position is primarily project-based, with significant interaction occurring directly with field operations, project leadership, and key stakeholders. Initial project opportunities are expected to be located in Wisconsin, Missouri, Wyoming, and Texas, with future assignments determined by business needs and project awards.
