Shop Hand - Aqueos

Aqueos utilizes its subsea experience and proven track record of excellence, professionalism, and safety to provide marine construction, commercial diving, ROV, and vessel contracting services to the oil and gas, civil, decommissioning, and renewable energy sectors—ensuring that Aqueos remains a leader in technology, sustainability, and environmental accountability.
We are seeking an experienced Shop Hand for our Ventura location. The Shop Hand is primarily responsible for supporting shop operations and assisting where needed.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Prepare equipment and tools in the shop.
- Keep the shop and yard clean and organized.
- Assist the shop in tasks assigned.
- Set up and operate all equipment as directed by the Shop Manager.
- Perform routine maintenance and repairs on equipment.
- Assist in work as required or directed.
- Load out of jobs in the Shop.
- Attend daily JSA meetings.
- Support and participate in the organization’s Continual Improvement Program to conform to ISO 9001:2015, ISO 14001:2015, and ISO 45001:2018 requirements by complying with the HSEQ Policy and procedures and meeting HSEQ objectives.
- Understand the implications of not conforming with the HSEQ Management System requirements.
- Other duties as assigned.
Requirements:
- High School Diploma or GED
- Current valid driver's license
- Previous experience in a shop, any mechanical experience or background is highly desirable
- Forklift certification and/or welding certification is a plus
- Experience working in an ISO 9001:2015, ISO 14001:2015, and/or ISO 45001:2018 environment a plus.
Physical and Safety Requirements:

- Able to lift 50 lbs.
- Must comply with any safety or PPE requirements.
- Exposure to production environment.
This information reflects the anticipated base salary for this position based on current market data. Minimums and maximums may vary based on location. Actual pay will be adjusted based on individual’s skills, experiences, education, and other job-related factors permitted by law.
Expected Salary Range
$23 - $28.50 USD
