A Salesforce Developer is responsible for designing, coding, developing, and implementing custom applications, processes, and interfaces within Salesforce and across integrated business systems. This role collaborates closely with the IT Business Systems Solutions Team and operations groups to identify and deliver solutions that improve efficiency, strengthen system integrations, and enhance reporting capabilities across Michels Corporation.

What it takes:
- Develop, test, and deploy Salesforce applications using Apex, Visualforce, and Lightning Components
- Collaborate with business analysts and stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into technical specifications
- Design and implement integrations between Salesforce and other systems using APIs and middleware
- Maintain and optimize existing Salesforce applications, ensuring high performance and user satisfaction
- Implement Salesforce best practices for coding, testing, and deployment
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to Salesforce functionality and performance
- Stay up-to-date with Salesforce releases and new features, providing recommendations for enhancements
- Salesforce Developer Certification (e.g., Salesforce Platform Developer, Data Architect) is highly desirable
- Experience with Salesforce integrations and data migration tools (desired)
- Familiarity with Salesforce architecture, best practices, and governance (desired)
