Project Manager - Aqueous

As a Project Manager, your key responsibilities will be to manage all aspects of marine services and project management including environmental compliance, inspection, budgeting, scheduling, cost control, and direct supervision of others. Project areas include offshore oil and gas platforms and pipelines, subsea work packages, remotely operated vehicles (ROVs), Diver intervention, mooring systems, oil spill control, vessels, management of subcontractors, schedule, budget, and resource management on assigned projects. The Project Manager is also responsible for assisting with estimating and bidding prospective jobs and opportunities, as well as traveling and participating in prospective project job walks and site visits.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
•Provide input and opinion towards bid and proposal development, including task times, required personnel, diving equipment, and third-party requirements.
•Review documents and drawings, evaluate opportunity requirements and conduct bid equipment and material take-offs and subcontractor requirements.
•Work with Purchasing to source and procure required pricing, subcontractors, materials, personnel and resources for bid and job requirements.
•Review project proposal or plan to determine project time frame, procedures for accomplishing project staffing requirements, and allotment of available resources to various phases of the project, as it relates to both the estimate and the awarded work.
•Attend pre-job planning meetings with client as required.
•Assist HSEQ with creating a Job Safety Analysis (JSA) and Safe Work Plan (SWP) for each project and ensuring all HSEQ requirements are followed such as daily safety meetings, BBSO tracking, and maintaining the safety culture of the company.
•Daily review of job logs and processing of time sheets. Daily update to client and Project Group Manager regarding job status including job costs to date. Ensure that signed time sheets are returned to office for timely billing. Responsible for managing and maintaining electronic filing system for all jobs.
•Review and approve requisitions submitted by Offshore Supervisor to be submitted to Purchasing. Coordinate and manage job specific major third party suppliers.
•Responsible for final deliverables to client including inspection reports and final job reports.
•Responsible for report out to Accounting Group for final job costs and ending gross profit.
•Represent company and conduct sales functions as necessary to promote interest and securing of new work or expansion of existing project work scopes.
•Support and participate in the organization’s Continual Improvement Program to conform to ISO 9001, ISO 14001, and ISO 45001 requirements by complying with the HSEQ Policy and procedures and meeting HSEQ objectives.
•Understand the implications of not conforming with the HSEQ Management System requirements.
Requirements:
- Vocational degree or certificate in Commercial Diving or Marine Technology.
- Engineering or Project Management degree preferred.
- 3-5 years of related field experience within the underwater service industry, involving commercial diving focused on oil and gas projects
- Experience working in an ISO 9001, ISO 14001, and/or ISO 45001 environment a plus
- Supervisor Drug and Alcohol training
- Ability to develop project stages, durations, requirements, and execution plans using MS Project or similar software.
- Management experience preferred and must be a good communicator.
- Ability to travel
This information reflects the anticipated base salary for this position based on current market data. Minimums and maximums may vary based on location. Actual pay will be adjusted based on individual’s skills, experiences, education, and other job-related factors permitted by law.
Expected Salary Range
$123,000 - $170,000 USD
