As a Mechanical Engineer, your key responsibilities include designing, analyzing, and improving mechanical systems and components across various projects. This role supports the full lifecycle of engineering projects—from concept through production—ensuring technical excellence, safety, and compliance with industry standards. This role will develop innovative mechanical solutions and designs for custom equipment and systems, collaborate with cross functional teams to ensure cohesive project execution, and prepare and review technical drawings, schematics, and specifications using CAD software. Critical for success are strong communication skills and the ability to manage and communicate project deadlines.

What it takes:
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field, and 5-7 years of related experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, Auto Desk Professional, and AutoCAD
- Must possess a valid driver license for the type(s) of vehicles which may be driven and an acceptable driving record as determined by the Michels Review Team
- EIT certification or PE license (desired)
- Experience with FEA/CFD tools (desired)
- Familiarity with Lean Manufacturing or Six Sigma principles (desired)
