The Supplier Diversity Specialist is responsible for outreach efforts to identify, engage and support diverse suppliers within the Michels Operating Companies in accordance with the Michels Supplier Diversity Program. Leads by example and promotes an inclusive work environment. Critical for success is the ability to build and maintain strong relationships with internal and external customers, attention to detail, and organizational skills. This position can be in Brownsville, Lomira, Neenah, or Milwaukee, WI but will require weekly travel to the Lomira, WI office.

What it takes:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Management, Supply Chain Management, or other related field and 1-3 years of Supplier Diversity, Procurement, and/or Supply Chain Management experience, or an equivalent combination
- Ability to travel on short or limited notice
- Hold a Certified Professional in Supplier Diversity (CPSD), Certified Diversity Professional (CDP), and/or Certified Professional in Supply Chain Management (CPSM) certificate (desired)
- Experience with public speaking or presenting at professional events (desired)
- A valid driver license for the type(s) of vehicles you may be driving and an acceptable driving record
