As Metacore grows, our development practices need to grow with us. We’re now looking for a People Development Partner to make sure our leadership, performance, and growth practices truly enable our business strategy and long-term success.

In this role, you will own and drive key people development areas end to end. From identifying business needs to designing scalable solutions, you’ll help strengthen leadership capability and nurture a culture where high care and high performance go hand in hand.

You’ll be part of our People & Culture team, working closely with People Partners, Talent Acquisition, and People Operations, and collaborating with leaders and other Company Operations stakeholders across both Helsinki and Berlin.

Responsibilities

  • Translating Metacore’s strategy into a clear People Development roadmap together with the People Development Lead, with defined priorities and measurable outcomes
  • Owning key parts of leadership development, such as supervisor onboarding, leadership capability building, and practical tools that support everyday leadership
  • Owning and continuously improving key parts of our performance management practices, including the performance calibration process and other growth initiatives.
  • Owning selected talent development and learning initiatives, designing impactful learning experiences and facilitating sessions for leaders and employees
  • Driving selected culture development initiatives that strengthen Metacore’s high care and high performance mindset
  • Contributing to organizational design and capability planning, including title and job leveling initiatives.
  • Identifying capability gaps and organizational risks, and proactively designing scalable solutions to strengthen Metacore’s performance and culture
  • Partnering closely with leaders to understand business needs, challenge constructively on leadership effectiveness, team performance, and cultural development, and embed development practices into daily work
  • Defining success metrics for your areas of responsibility, measuring impact, and iterating based on data and insights

Requirements

  • Extensive experience in People Development, Talent Development, Learning and Development, or a similar senior role
  • Proven track record of building and scaling company-wide development frameworks or processes (e.g. leadership or performance management)
  • Strong business acumen and the ability to connect development work to strategy and performance outcomes
  • Strong project management skills and experience leading cross-functional, company-wide initiatives from problem definition to measurable results
  • Strong stakeholder management skills, with the ability to build trust, challenge constructively, and influence senior leaders across the organization
  • Data-informed approach with intermediate Excel or Google Sheets skills to define success metrics, measure impact, and iterate based on insights
  • Excellent communication skills in English with the ability to communicate clearly across diverse audiences
  • Resilient and adaptable, able to create structure in changing environments and navigate ambiguity while maintaining focus, quality, and ownership
  • Collaborative mindset, valuing shared success and actively contributing to collective goals across teams
  • Growth-oriented mindset, demonstrating motivation to continuously develop both personally and in ways of working, with a positive and proactive approach to change

In addition to these, it would be nice but not mandatory for you to have some of these as well:

  • Experience from a growing tech, gaming, or product company
  • Experience building leadership capability in scaling organizations
  • Experience supporting culture development or cultural transformation in a scale-up environment
  • Coaching certification or strong hands-on coaching experience with leaders
