Digital & Marketing Executive

Purpose/ Mission:

Meranti Green Steel (MGS) is looking for a Thai local marketer to support the day-to-day execution of youth-focused campaigns in Thailand. This is a hands-on role for someone who understands Thailand’s digital landscape, can write strong Thai-language content, and is comfortable executing campaigns across social media, paid ads, and on-ground activations.

The role works closely with the regional team and in-house creative to bring campaigns to life, especially those targeting Gen Z and young professionals.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Create engaging Thai-language content for TikTok, Instagram, Facebook, and LINE
  • Manage daily posting, community engagement, and basic content scheduling
  • Adapt campaign messaging into culturally relevant, youth-focused content
  • Understand TikTok and Instagram Reels formats, trends, and best practices
  • Perform light video editing when required (clip cutting, captions, simple transitions)
  • Work with assets provided by the in-house creative team
  • Adapt and localize content quickly for trends, campus moments, and timely opportunities
  • Appear on camera for short-form content when required (TikTok / Reels / Stories)
  • Support simple explainers, trends, behind-the-scenes, campus, or event-related content
  • Collaborate with influencers, mascots, or event activities as needed
  • Plan, launch, and optimize paid social media campaigns (Meta and/or TikTok Ads)
  • Manage small-to-medium advertising budgets focused on reach, engagement, and conversions
  • Monitor campaign performance and prepare reports with insights and optimization recommendations
  • Thai national with native-level Thai writing and communication skills
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in digital marketing or social media execution
  • Hands-on experience with paid social advertising (Meta and/or TikTok)
  • Strong understanding of Gen Z and young millennial digital behavior in Thailand
  • Ability to work hands-on and execute in a fast-paced environment
  • Understanding of short-form video content, trends, and platform best practices
  • Basic video editing and content adaptation skills (e.g. CapCut, Canva)

Required Education/ Qualification/ Training:

  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, Communications, Digital Media, or related fields (or equivalent practical experience)
  • Practical training or hands-on experience in digital marketing, social media management, or paid advertising platforms
  • Additional certifications in Meta Ads, TikTok Ads, or digital marketing tools are an advantage
