
Associate Manager Project Finance & Capital Raising: debt-focus
Purpose/ Mission:
The (associate) manager will support the Director of Strategic Finance in managing investor-facing activities, including capital raising, due diligence, and financial modeling. The role is essential to ensuring the smooth execution of both equity and debt-related transactions. This is a high-impact role within a fast-growing company operating in a startup environment, requiring flexibility, initiative, and a willingness to take ownership across a wide range of tasks. Two positions are available and responsibilities will be split based on focus:
- One will primarily support equity investor
- One will primarily support debt financing and banking relationships: this job description focuses on the debt-side.

Key Responsibilities:
Common Responsibilities (across both equity/debt roles):
- Coordinate data collection and document preparation for due diligence exercises.
- Manage information flow and deadlines across internal teams and external consultants (e.g., technical, legal, and financial advisors).
- Support the Director of Strategic Finance in preparing investor presentations, and internal decision papers.
- Support with investors’ relation management, such as providing regular progress reports, financials and any other ad-hoc reports required from investors.
- Work closely with accounting/treasury team to manage and track funds movement and financing costs
- Support in maintaining and updating financial models to support capital raising, investor updates, and internal strategy.
- Adapt to shifting priorities, activities, and timelines typical of a fast-paced startup setting.
- Support the Director Strategic Finance in all relevant tasks where requested.
Debt/banking-specific focus:
- Prepare materials for commercial banks and other lending institutions.
- Support debt/banking due diligence processes (financial, legal, ESG, technical).
Requirements/ Skills/ Experience:
- 4–6 years of experience in corporate finance, investment banking, private equity, infrastructure finance, project finance, or related roles.
- Solid financial modeling and analytical capabilities.
- Experience supporting transaction execution, including due diligence and documentation.
- Familiarity with working alongside legal, technical, and financial consultants.
- Ability to prioritize in a fast-paced, ambiguous, and evolving environment.
- Strong communication skills and comfort working with both internal and external stakeholders.
- Flexibility and adaptability are essential.
Required Education/ Qualification/ Training:
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, Business, or related field.
Required Language Proficiency:
- English - Fluent
