Technical Sales Engineer - Power Generators
Location: Baghdad, Iraq.
Years of Experience: 3+ years.
Working Arrangement: on-site.
Language Requirements: Fluency in Arabic & English (written and spoken).
Nationalities: Iraqi.
We are seeking a Technical Sales Engineer – Power Generators to drive business growth and support customers with reliable power generation solutions. The role focuses on identifying client requirements, proposing suitable generator systems, managing the sales cycle, and providing technical support throughout project execution. The successful candidate will possess strong technical knowledge of generator systems and established relationships within the projects and construction sectors.
Key Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in the sales and marketing of power generators in Baghdad.
- Strong technical knowledge of generator systems and related control systems.
- Established network within the construction and project sectors.
Other Qualifications
- Strong communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
- Strong commercial awareness and customer relationship management capabilities.
- Ability to manage multiple opportunities and meet sales targets.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Key Responsibilities
- Engage with clients to understand power generation requirements and recommend suitable generator solutions.
- Develop and maintain relationships with contractors, consultants, project owners, and end users.
- Prepare and submit technical and commercial proposals, quotations, and tender documents.
- Provide technical support before and after the sales process.
- Follow up on quotations, negotiations, and contract execution activities.
- Monitor project progress and ensure customer satisfaction throughout delivery and commissioning.
- Identify new business opportunities and expand the company's market presence.
- Track market trends, competitor activities, and emerging customer requirements.
- Achieve assigned sales targets and contribute to overall business development objectives.
- Coordinate with internal technical and operations teams to ensure successful project execution.
