Job Application for Infrastructure Security Specialist - 1-Year Engagement at MENA Consultant

Location: Riyadh, KSA.
Years of Experience: 3+ years.
Project Duration: 1 year (with the possibility of extension for another year).
Working Arrangement: on-site.
Language Requirements: Fluency in English (written and spoken).
Starting Date: as soon as possible.
Shift Coverage: 8×5 operational coverage (morning and evening shifts) with on-call rotation for P1 and P2 incidents.

Responsible for supporting daily security operations and ensuring compliance within the Infrastructure Security Tower, as part of a Mission-Critical Network Managed Security Services environment. Focus areas include implementing, maintaining, and optimizing network-security technologies such as Next-Generation Firewalls (NGFW), Web Application Firewalls (WAF), Secure DNS, Remote Access VPN, and virtualized infrastructure components. Reports to Infrastructure Tower Lead.

Key Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Cybersecurity, Network Engineering, or a related field.
Minimum of 3 years’ hands-on experience in network or infrastructure security operations.
Experience in Fortinet, Palo Alto, Checkpoint, Infoblox, BlueCat, Remote Access VPN, Nutanix and VMware.

Preferred Certifications

Fortinet NSE 4 or equivalent (e.g., Palo Alto PCNSA, Checkpoint CCSA).
Infoblox DNS Specialist or BlueCat Associate.
Nutanix Certified Professional or VMware VCTA.

Key Responsibilities

Configure and maintain NGFW policies, IPS/IDS, and SSL inspection features across multi-vendor environments.
Manage and optimize WAF rules ensuring OWASP-aligned coverage.
Monitor firewall, DNS, and remote-access logs; escalate anomalies to SOC.
Coordinate with OEM and vendor support for firmware updates and patches.
Support vulnerability remediation, incident follow-up, and compliance audits.
Maintain documentation for configurations, change requests, and operational runbooks.
