Forensics Data Analytics Senior Consultant

Location: Amman, Jordan.

We are looking for a sharp, detail-driven individual to join our team as a Senior Consultant specializing in Forensic Data Analytics. This position is suited for professionals experienced in analyzing complex datasets, identifying data-driven patterns, and supporting forensic inquiries with actionable insights.

In this role, you will take the lead on forensic data analytics engagements, applying advanced techniques to detect anomalies, investigate fraud, and support casework through precise data analysis. You’ll collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver robust solutions, ensuring data accuracy and integrity throughout each project. This opportunity calls for someone with solid technical expertise, strong analytical skills, and the ability to mentor junior staff while managing critical deliverables.

Key Duties:

1. Oversee the delivery of forensic data analytics projects, ensuring quality outcomes and timely execution.

2. Support and guide junior team members on analytical techniques and project execution.

3. Write and optimize SQL queries to gather, clean, and process large-scale data from multiple systems.

4. Design and apply models and metrics to highlight irregularities, fraud indicators, and data anomalies.

5. Conduct complex financial and forensic analyses in areas such as litigation, due diligence, and internal investigations.

6. Utilize tools like Alteryx, Tableau, Power BI, Python, and R to perform analytics for fraud and compliance-related reviews.

7. Ensure best practices in data governance, quality, and reporting are followed.

8. Work closely with departments such as legal, compliance, and risk to derive insights that support strategic decisions.

9. Communicate key findings and recommendations to clients and leadership in a clear, concise manner.

10. Help develop internal methodologies, workflows, and automation tools to increase efficiency and consistency.

11. Handle sensitive information responsibly and uphold ethical and legal standards during forensic reviews.

Qualifications & Skills:

• Bachelor’s degree in Data Analytics, Computer Science, Engineering, Forensics, Statistics, AI, or a related discipline; a Master’s degree is a plus.

• Solid grasp of data science concepts such as statistical modeling, machine learning, and predictive analytics.

• Experience in data integration, data quality management, and governance practices.

• Proficiency in managing and manipulating large datasets and intricate data models.

• Minimum of 4 years' experience in data analytics, forensic investigations, or a related function.

• Background in managing projects and leading teams, ideally in consulting or corporate environments.

• Advanced skills in SQL, Python, R, and ETL platforms such as Alteryx or Tableau Prep.

• Familiarity with Power Query (M) and DAX for data modeling and transformation.

• Hands-on experience with business intelligence tools like Power BI or Tableau and effective in data storytelling.

• Exposure to fraud analytics, forensic accounting, or financial review is highly desirable.

• Strong critical thinking and analytical mindset, especially under time-sensitive conditions.

• Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills, capable of presenting complex findings to varied audiences.

• Certifications such as CFE, CFA, CMA, Power BI Data Analyst Associate, or Tableau Certified Professional are an added advantage.

• Prior consulting experience is preferred.
