Country Manager for Czechia and Slovakia

Medier is looking for a strong, hands-on Country Manager for Czechia and Slovakia to lead our growth and performance in the local markets.
This is a strategic and execution-focused role where you'll be fully responsible for market development, performance, and compliance.
 
Location: on-site in Poland or remote from Czechia or Slovakia

What you’ll do:

  • Own the P&L for Czechia and Slovakia and define a clear roadmap for sustainable growth.
  • Analyze market trends, competitors, and player behavior to shape the local strategy.
  • Drive local performance across acquisition, retention, and product positioning in close cooperation with CRM, Content, Product, Affiliation, and Compliance teams.
  • Localize global campaigns and ensure they are relevant for the Romanian audience and aligned with business goals.
  • Develop and execute local promotional, bonus, and retention strategies for both casino and sports.
  • Monitor key KPIs, budgets, and forecasts; prepare regular performance reports and turn insights into action.
  • Ensure full regulatory compliance and manage relationships with local authorities and key market stakeholders.
  • Lead local projects and coordinate cross-functional teams to secure smooth execution and strong brand visibility across channels

What we’re looking for:

  • 4+ years in iGaming (casino or sports betting).
  • At least 2 year in a Country Manager role or another senior market-level leadership position within the gambling industry (Czechia or Slovakia market).
  • Deep understanding of Romanian customer behavior, cultural specifics, and regulatory framework.
  • Strong understanding of acquisition channels, CRM, promotional strategy, and product-market fit in Czechia or Slovakia.
  • Native Slovak or Czech and fluent English.
