About the Role
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Nordic Country Manager to lead our operations on the Norwegian market for Medier Company. This role involves overseeing all business activities, managing teams, achieving revenue targets, and building strong client relationships to drive growth and success in the region.
Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement the business strategy for the Norwegian market, aligned with the company’s global objectives.
  • Manage operations, ensuring profitability, revenue growth, and quality standards are met or exceeded.
  • Prepare and deliver annual budgets, detailed business operating plans, and performance reports (monthly, quarterly, and annually).
  • Recruit, train, and manage a high-performing team, including monitoring performance and mentoring team members.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, ensuring top-tier customer service and satisfaction.
  • Analyse market trends, identify growth opportunities, and adapt strategies to remain competitive.
  • Act as the primary representative of the company on the Norwegian market, maintaining a deep understanding of local market dynamics and cultural nuances.
Requirements:
  • A degree in business, finance, marketing, or a related field; additional financial qualifications are a plus.
  • Strong understanding of budgeting, financial planning, and business operations.
  • Proven track record of leadership and delivering measurable results in a similar role.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills with the ability to inspire and manage teams effectively.
  • Strong networking skills and the ability to build and nurture client relationships.
  • Experience in recruiting, mentoring, and performance management of staff.
  • Familiarity with the digital media, marketing, or advertising sector is highly desirable.
  • Proficiency in software tools such as Microsoft Word, Excel, and other relevant platforms.
  • Experience living or working abroad and sensitivity to cultural differences are a plus.
  • Fluency in Norwegian and English; fluency in one or more of the other Nordic languages is highly desirable.
