Ministry of Digital Development and Information
About Us
The Ministry of Digital Development and Information (MDDI) drives Singapore’s digital
development in four key domains — the economy, government, security, and society. MDDI
oversees the development of the infocomm technology, cybersecurity, and media sectors;
the Government’s digitalisation initiatives; and the national library, national archives, and
public libraries. The Ministry is also responsible for effective public communications, and the
Government’s information and public communication policies. Our mission is to engage
hearts and minds, and build a thriving digital future for all.
The Smart Nation Group – Digital Government (SNDG) in MDDI plans and prioritises key
Smart Nation and digital government projects, raises the standards of Government
infocomm technology and services, builds long-term capabilities for the public sector, and
promotes adoption and participation in digital and smart innovations.
At SNDG, our officers do challenging and exciting work at the nexus of technology and
government policy. From strengthening our technology infrastructure and capabilities, to
crafting inclusive tech policies, and harnessing technology for the public good, the impact of
your work will help shape our Smart Nation of tomorrow. If you are up for the challenge, join
us!
