About this role and the impact you will have: 

At Material Evolution, you’ll be at the heart of creating the world’s most eco-friendly cements. With a focus on research and innovation, our business is divided into specialised units addressing different industry challenges. 

We are looking for a dynamic and innovative Materials Scientist to join our team. You will focus on the formulation, activation, and testing of inorganic binders, cements, and concretes, using advanced polymer technologies. Your role will be crucial in developing sustainable alternatives to traditional construction materials. 

What You'll Be Doing: 

• Develop and optimise cement and binder formulations.
• Conduct research on the activation of inorganic and polymer-based binders.
• Collaborate on testing, scaling, and performance assessments of new concrete materials.
• Work closely with cross-functional teams to translate research into scalable products.
• Publish findings and contribute to industry-leading innovation in material science. 

Key Skills and Experience Required: 

• PhD or Master’s degree in Materials Science, Chemistry, or a related field.
• Strong background in inorganic materials, cement chemistry, or polymer science.
• Experience with cement and concrete activation processes.
• A passion for sustainability and innovation in construction materials.
