The Opportunity

As Director, North America High Velocity Sales, you will be a High Impact Leader, responsible for the execution and success of the North American High Velocity Account Executive (AE) team. This function is critical to driving high-volume sales, maximizing revenue, and ensuring consistent execution across a highly dynamic sales motion.

Reporting directly to the VP of High Velocity Sales, you will a key operational and people leader, balancing regional oversight with hands-on coaching and performance management of the front-line AEs. This role offers the chance to build a high-performing, career-focused team and significantly impact the company's growth trajectory within the North American market.

Responsibilities

  • Forecasting & Reporting Execution: Manage the weekly and monthly forecast submission for the North America High Velocity team. Drive forecast accuracy and predictability by overseeing AE pipeline coverage, deal stage hygiene, and close dates. Report the regional forecast roll-up to the VP of High Velocity Sales and CRO.
  • Deal Escalation & Support: Serve as the primary point of contact for deal escalations, ensuring effective resolution, resource allocation, and maintaining a positive customer experience.
  • Process Compliance: Ensure the team's adherence to all sales processes, CRM hygiene, and company policies, ensuring data accuracy and compliance.
  • Team Leadership & Coaching: Provide daily, hands-on coaching and mentoring to a team of High Velocity Account Executives. Focus areas include deal structuring, negotiation tactics, pipeline management, and product positioning.
  • Performance Management: Set clear expectations, monitor individual AE performance against quotas, and conduct regular 1:1 meetings, performance reviews, and career development planning.
  • Hiring & Onboarding: Lead the recruitment, interviewing, and hiring of top-tier sales talent. Oversee the successful onboarding and continuous training of new Account Executives to accelerate time-to-productivity.
  • Culture Building: Foster a highly motivated, collaborative, and results-oriented team culture built on accountability, transparency, and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

  • 5+ years of progressive experience in sales, with 5+ years in a sales leadership/management capacity.
  • Proven track record of managing a sales team to consistently exceed revenue targets in a high-volume, transactional sales environment (High Velocity/Mid-Market preferred).
  • Demonstrated experience in regional sales management, including ownership of a regional forecast and sophisticated business reporting.
  • Strong coaching and people development skills, with a focus on building and retaining high-performing talent.
  • Expert-level knowledge of CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce) and sales engagement platforms.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills, with the ability to interact effectively with senior leadership.
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Computer Science or a related field is preferred.

Location

Austin, TX - Hybrid - On-Site in the Austin, TX office on Tuesdays and Thursdays  

Compensation:

The annual anticipated U.S. base salary range for this full-time position is USD $100,000 - $130,000 plus commissions.

Actual salaries may vary and fall outside of this range depending on factors such as a candidate’s qualifications, geographic location, skills, experience, and competencies.
