Main Purpose
Overall responsibility for creating Man Group portfolio manager and sales presentations for Man’s private credit investment area in a compelling and consistent manner. The role requires developing substantial technical expertise in key private credit investment funds within Man's Discretionary business area to write and produce credible and compelling investment-led presentations. These presentations will need to be prepared on a regular basis for use with Man's institutional and retail client base, in addition to industry conferences and other events.
A key element of the role will be to develop deep and credible relationships with
the relevant private credit investment and CPM teams and to become a go-to
source for Sales on the sub-set of funds covered. The successful applicant will be expected to produce high quality and professional materials quickly, efficiently and to a high standard
Responsibilities

Write, develop and deliver the full range of presentation collateral,
making use of close proximity to the CPM, portfolio management and sales teams -
Ensure all presentations are of the highest quality and that the latest industry research/ regulatory requirements / analysis / messaging is incorporated

Partner with the private credit portfolio management team, CPM, and other key stakeholders across the business so as to ensure content is impactful and of the highest quality

Work alongside the Discretionary Investment Services team and senior team members to create compelling 'off the shelf' marketing collateral to support fund launches and sales activity

Demonstrate a strong level of technical competence with excel and the ability to create compelling charts using complex data sets

Translate complex investment ideas into a logical and visually engaging format
- Manage the process of updating product materials on a monthly/quarterly basis
- Act as an ambassador for IS internally and be a positive role model to junior members of the team
Key Skills & Requirements
-
Degree level education in a relevant discipline required. CFA, CAIA or IMC qualification is preferred although not essential

Approx. 3-4 years’ Client Service or Content Creation experience within the industry and a solid understanding of the financial landscape investment management / hedge fund space preferred

Strong PowerPoint and Excel skills: Experience and expertise in
PowerPoint with suitable knowledge of Excel. Strong analytical ability with good attention to detail -
Awareness: Demonstrate a positive attitude and business awareness.

Ability to construct top quality presentation collateral with clear and consistent messaging

Strategic engagement: Ability to work with senior members of sales and investment management to support sales priorities

Communication: Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.

Proficient in understanding institutional and retail client expectations and requirements

Proactive: Identify opportunities and initiate projects where Investment Marketing can add value for the portfolio manager, sales force and wider business

Organisation: Good organisational and time management skills. Ability to prioritise work effectively

Team orientation: Ability to work independently within a team to meet demanding deadlines. Works comfortably in an entrepreneurial environment, seeks to continuously enhance own relevant skills
The anticipated based salary range for this position is listed below. Compensation packages would also include benefits and a discretionary bonus. This is the base salary range that the Company believes it will pay for this position at the time of this posting based on the location and requirements of the position as well as the skills, qualifications, and experience of the applicant. The Firm reserves the right to modify this pay range at any time.
US Pay Range
$80,000 - $85,000 USD
