Job Profile Summary:

Introduction

Man Group is seeking a People Team Apprentice who is ambitious and eager to learn. You will join the Global People Function in the London office of a FTSE 250 company and will be expected to support for the People team.

You will gain exposure to various teams across the People Function and this is a fantastic opportunity to develop an excellent foundational knowledge of HR practices and processes.

 

Specific Responsibilities:

  • Provide administrative and operational support across the various People teams
  • Respond to first line employee queries in a timely and efficient manner
  • Draft employment letters and maintaining up to date templates
  • Diary management support, setting up meetings and booking rooms
  • Create purchase orders and process invoices
  • Support for HR projects and strategic initiatives
  • Support with visa and immigration processes
  • Support for benefits and wellbeing programmes
  • Administrative support for all legal and regulatory changes
  • Update document management system

 

 

Skills needed:

 

  • Position is ideal for a candidate with the right attitude who would like to progress a career within Human Resources.
  • Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment with attention to detail
  • Good level of written and verbal communication skills with the ability to work well in a team.
  • Excellent time management and customer service skills
  • Ability to handle sensitive data and demonstrate discretion at all times, acting with integrity and empathy
  • Ability to plan and prioritise important tasks and work to deadlines with accuracy
