Job Profile Summary:

This role is a 6-month fixed term contract. 

Working within the Allocations, Reconciliations and Calculations Team within Global Sales Operations, the team is responsible for the allocation of transactions in Man’s funds to clients and distribution partners, the reconciliation of their positions, and the calculation of rebates and servicing fees payments due to these parties. Supporting the team to complete their tasks in an accurate and timely fashion and providing excellent client service.

Responsibilities:

Trades Allocations

• Review trades and allocate them to the correct entities
• Set and review allocation rules in the system to allow auto-allocation of trades
• Liaise with Client Relations teams to clarify unclear case

Positions Reconciliations 

• Review system holdings against client statements to ensure they match
• Investigate and resolve discrepancies and reallocate trades as required
• Document conclusions

Client Payments

• Review system-generated payments calculations to ensure they are accurate
• Perform manual calculations and controls where necessary
• Respond to queries and help resolve payment queries

System setups

• Review and understand system setups to ensure accurate products and rates
  as per client agreements

Key Skills & Experience:

• Fluency in English
• Ease of learning and using new systems
• Good knowledge of Excel including Pivot Tables
• Comfortable working with numbers and large data sets
• Good attention to details
• Good communication skills
• Open and pro-active attitude

 

Nice to have: 

• Degree in finance or business
• Experience in a middle or back office in financial services
• Experience with allocations and reconciliations
• Knowledge of investment funds and related operational processes and 
  industry participants
