Product Marketing Manager

The Role

The US Marketing Team is responsible for growing the Man Group brand and driving asset growth with Financial Advisors and their high-net-worth clients across key US channels. We are hiring a marketing professional to oversee our product marketing content for the Wealth business.

This individual will be a key member of the US Marketing team within the Man Group Global Marketing team, primarily focused on crafting compelling product positioning, messaging, and storytelling that differentiates our solutions in the market. They will be responsible for developing, maintaining and ensuring consistent messaging across the full suite of marketing collateral (presentations, sales flyers, product briefs, brochures, educational content in various mediums, social posts etc.) for the firm's wealth product offerings to support the distribution efforts across US wealth channels.

Qualifications/aptitude

• Five years plus of professional work experience with relevant coverage of US Wealth
• Previous experience in investment management is essential
• A track record of positioning and messaging financial products and a strong interest in markets and economics
• Strong writing and editing skills, with a proven ability to capture complex financial concepts in simple, clear language
• A solid understanding of Man Group’s competitor landscape
• Exceptional attention to detail 
• Comfortable working with senior stakeholders 

Responsibilities

The applicant for this role will possess a deep understanding of the U.S. Wealth management industry. They will:

• Create eye-catching and insightful copy for diverse platforms (articles, websites, social media, podcasts, video) with a focus on digital assets
• Demonstrate an in-depth, up-to-date understanding of financial markets, the macroeconomic environment and Man Group’s capabilities
• Build strong relationships with channel marketing, sales and business teams to help create marketing strategies that engage Financial Advisors, clients and prospects
• Perform competitor analysis to drive Man Group’s Wealth content strategy towards a market-leading position
• Work closely with Creative teams, Marketing Operations and/or external vendors
• Partner with the global Content team to review and repurpose global content to meet the needs of the US Wealth channel
• Generate thought leadership ideas to support the global content strategy
• Facilitate reviews and incorporate feedback from stakeholders, Legal and Compliance, including project-managing the publication process
• Collaborate with key partners in marketing at all levels of seniority to drive and execute initiatives
• Assist with senior management reporting and develop slides to articulate marketing efforts and accomplishments

Base Salary Range: The anticipated based salary range for this position is $130,000-$150,000 + benefits + a discretionary bonus. This is the base salary range that the Company believes it will pay for this position at the time of this posting based on the location and requirements of the position as well as the skills, qualifications, and experience of the applicant.  The Firm reserves the right to modify this pay range at any time.
