CLO Operations Analyst
Purpose of the Role
Working in Credit Operations, within the Investment Operations team, the role of a successful CLO Operations Analyst is to support our US CLO business. Assisting the front office in various daily functions such as analytics, reporting and trade support.
Specific Responsibilities
- Working with various internal and external counterparties to support Man’s CLOs operations, this role requires an active knowledge of CLO Investment Guidelines, Legal Documentation such as Prospectuses, Indentures and Warehouse Documentation, and will assist with, in order:
- running periodic reporting,
- cashflow calculations,
- waterfall distributions,
- running hypothetical trade test scenarios,
- trade support and loan settlement
- reconciliation of positions and cash
- as well as a range of middle office activities
- Take responsibility for par and distressed LSTA Bank Loan closing, using Clearpar and/or offline. Experience with and understanding loan transfer, as well as Tax and KYC documentation involved in the process.
- Assist with
- various internal / external reporting requests
- regulatory & audit requests.
- overseeing fees, invoices and other expenses
- Next to front office, trading and operations regularly interact with other internal departments, such as risk, legal and compliance.
- The ideal candidate will bring some knowledge of CLO transactions, understand their structure incl. rating agency methodologies and are familiar with cashflows as well as the life cycle of underlying leveraged loan investments.
Key Competencies
- 3 to 5 years’ experience in an operational role with CLOs and/or loans
- Reconciliation and troubleshooting skill sets required
- Analytical mindset
- Expert knowledge of MS Office, especially Excel
- WSO, Allvue or similar CLO & Loan specific software knowledge
- Bloomberg (advantageous)
Base Salary Range: The anticipated based salary range for this position is $95,000-$120,000 + benefits + a discretionary bonus. This is the base salary range that the Company believes it will pay for this position at the time of this posting based on the location and requirements of the position as well as the skills, qualifications, and experience of the applicant. The Firm reserves the right to modify this pay range at any time.
